Intro Statistics Drakkin Story

It had obviously not taken Lord Breeder Dwahro long to "consider the offering"; the next morning, Rey awoke and heard a light popping noise. Out of nowhere, a note appeared and fluttered down the the bed. Rey snatched it up and read it over and over, to be sure her eyes hadn't been deceived.

Lady Aubrey,
I have determined your offering to be most acceptable. When the drakkin hatchlings have reached two months of age, a summons will be sent to you, informing you of the hatchling event and any other pertinent details.
The Watching Globe is proving to be an interesting challenge. Before you leave the city after the event, I may have a few questions for you.

Until the event,
Lord Breeder Dwahro

Rey squealed with delight, then attempted to compose herself; after all, drakkin trainers don't sqeal. However, her attempt was useless, and she just went into a fit of giggles. She composed a quick reply, and snapped her fingers. It dissappeared, and had surely reappeared somewhere close to Dwahro.

Once she'd replied, all she could think about was the hatching. She remembered it was customary to wear something from each buyers offering; What would he wear of hers? The boots, maybe? Or the belt? Or maybe the watch...

She patted herself on the back for including the Globe... she hadn't been sure if Dwahro would know really what to do with it, or how he could use it. Watching was a divination native to the People, and Rey didn't think it was really used anywhere else. But he'd liked it, even wanted to ask her questions. The rest of Rey's day was sort of dazed, mostly consisting of her imagining what the hatchling event would be like.

"Until the event..."
