You are strolling along the beach, watching the sunset over the ocean when something catches your eye, a small hole in the rocky cliff that you hadn't seen before. Walking over to investigate, you notice a bit of light at the end, meaning it was a tunnel leading somewhere else.
Getting down on your knees, you crawl into the tunnel and when you emerge you are standing on another beach, this one much different from the first. The sea has become crystal clear, and the sand on the beach a snowy white, very soft looking. You can't resist and slip off your sandals, walking in the sand for a while.
Looking out to the sky, which has turned a rainbow of colors, you see a shape rising from the water that of a woman. She has dark hair and light skin, her clothes, which seem to be coming from the water itself, are white, her long skirt trimmed in gold. In all she is quite beautiful.
As she spots you she greets you lightly. "Hello visitor. I see you found the beach." Her voice is soft but kind, and though quiet easily heard. "I suppose my people must beleive you worthy, then, for not many may see these lands."
You feel odd, a sort of tingling in your very flesh. You glance it off, supposing it is the wind, for the sun is gone and the stars shimmer brightly light tiny flecks of light far away.
The woman turns and gracefully sits on a rock that seems to be made of crystal, translucent yet beautifully smooth. Her complextion was smooth, and her eyes were a clear blue, like the water beyond her. "So you've found the White Beach. I'm here awaiting a companion."
Though it has struck you to ask what kind of companion, you decide it will be answered later on. "Do you beleive in dragons?" Your thoughts are to laugh aloud at what you first thought was a joke, but her face tells you otherwise.
"I have dreamed of a dragon to acompany me in the sea for a very long time, since I was just a girl. And let me tell you something, it's been a while since then." You doubted this, but she didn't seem to be joking. "I even have a small guardian for one, if perhaps one chooses to live here." She pulls out a small green egg, about the size of your hand.
You explain that you need to go home to the beautiful stranger. "Maybe you will come back some time?" She asks you and something inside makes you say yes. As you walk off right before she returns to the sea, you call out "But your name!"
She turns, and though you cannot hear her well, you feel something inside that tells you "Aphrodite."

Sitting at home for a week made you crazy, but finally you felt it was time to go back to that hidden beach. Walking slowly, you at first couldn't find the small opening in the cliff. Walking more quickly, however, you noticed it out of the corner of your eye and when you turned it was once more in full view.
Once you were out of the tunnel you saw that Aphrodite was already standing there, smiling and beckoning you closer. She laughs, a sound like a bubbley creek making it's way over the stones, and sits once more in her favorite spot on the crystal rock.
"I need you to open your mind completely," she says, her almost black hair blowing in the playful wind, "because what I am about to show you is quite important, and a well kept secret. When I show you, you must vow to tel no one. Understood?" Her seriousness is enough to make you nodd, and you are truthful about it too. She gets up, pushing her long skirt out of her way, to no success.
Getting up, she leads you to a hidden niche in the rock, where something is producing a small glow of warm light. Getting closer, you gasp, for it is an enourmous yet perfectly smooth shape, producing a warm that is more pronounced as you ently place two fingers onto the shell. For it is most obviously an egg, carefully hidden from all predators, and more likely, unwanted visitors. Next to it was the green egg, though it is much bigger then it was before. "It's beautiful," you say softly to her, and Aphrodite's first reply is a quiet "I know."
"It is the offspring of Moonwind and Hira," she tells you. "I had a feeling about this clutch, a very strong one. so I filled out a form, and just today a kind person came, introduced themself as the Dragon Carrier, and dropped this off." She stopped and held a small shell in her hand, then spoke very quickly. "I must be going. Very important buisness back home. I trust you'll be going now?" You walked to the cliff and stared as once more she melted into the ocean.

One day you just wake up knowing you needed to see Aphrodite again. You get excited; Maybe it has hatched! So when you go looking for the opening in the wall, you almost miss it for eagerness.
When you are finally through you almost fall over a rock running to Aphrodite's spot. But when you look back to see if it's a rock, it's not! Laying there in the sand is a little blue and purple lizard-like thing, and you're guessing it's the dragon.
{Hello,} it says in your mind, it's mouth curling up into what appears to be a smile. {Affodinee is over dere.} Through it's cutely childish voice you work out "Aphrodite is over there", and you walk with it in your arms to the direction it indicated. {Hi Affodinee!} It scrambles onto Aphrodite's lap from your arms.
"Hello," you say shyly. "What's it's name?"
{Her name is Carmon} the hatchling snaps.
"Karmun, my little light blue dragon." Ahprodite seems very much in love with this little one. Karmun yawns and sleeps in the water-godess's arms. You decide to go.

The next time you visited the ocean, you searched carefully for the opening in the rock. Crawling through on your knees, you are not prepared to see what you do. A much larger Karmun greets you, nearly bowling you over as she runs to jump up. Her weight is tremendous!
You laugh as she runs off to chase a butterfly, nearly tripping over herself. You go to sit next to Aphrodite to talk. "She's a lot bigger," is your first word.
"Yes. She just grew the other day. One day I woke up and she was huge! She's much more active then she was. A handful." The beautiful woman laugh, then sighs as Karmun drops a tiny flower into her lap.
Then you jump as something touches you, but stop when you see a smaller dragon crawling your lap. The chesmu curls up, but not for long as Karmun comes and picks it up in her mouth, carrying it away to play with her. Then you remember something. "What's it's name?"
"Karmun decided it would be Kaslynn, though I'm not sure why. Kaslynn is the native language fo 'Rabbit'. But she was determined." Aphrodite laughs.
When you see tat Karmun is sleeping, you nod to Aphrodite and get up, quietly making for the opening and waving as the beach behind it dissapeared.

It is sunny now, as you walk along the beach. Already you are on the hidden cove, but it is empty, and you are waiting for Aphrodite and Karmun to come back.
You look into the ocean, and there you see what looks to be a huge seasnake's head rising out of the water. Aphrodite was walking onto the beach, her flowing robes behind her, and you guess that it must be Karmun swimming to shore. You had been pretty sure it would be a water dragon.
You go to Aph, to start a conversation. The chesmu rushed over to Karmun once she was near enough to land, trying not to wet it's wings as it stood near the water. Karmun lifts it onto her back, despite it opposition. "So, a water dragon, eh?"
"Yes. A beautiful water dragon, quite adept at swimming, and keeping up when we go under. I daresay she is faster then me." Aphrodite is right, Karmun is fast. Before Kaslynn knew what hit it, it had been dumped into the water. It swims fairly well, using it's wings as rudders, but it doesn't seem to be too happy about being left to fend for itself.
You and Aphrodite talked while watching the antics of the huge Karmun and chesmu. When it got dark you nodded to Aphrodite and were off.

Almost a week later you wake up and decide to see how Karmun is doing. You walk slowly to the beach, and upon arriving, find it empty. You wait a long time before the water foams, and Aphrodite slowly emerges, seemingly riding on something unseen. As she gets closer to shore, the light blue back of Karmun. When they reach the light sand you see that Karmun is now fully grown and nearly twice the size she was last week. You run over and she leans her long neck down. She sniffs you, and you hear her familiar voice. {Hello,} she says. {See me now? I am an adult. Now I even go all the way to the bottom of the ocean with Aphrodite.} "I'm very glad," you say. Aphrodite turns to you. "Isn't she beautiful? And very smart, always daydreaming. And quite attached to Kaslynn, if I may say so myself."
You two sit and chat for what seems like hours, watching Karmun swim and even going for a ride yourself. But it gets dark soon, and you say goodbye. {Come again soon!} Karmun calls out as you leave. "I will!"
