" amar! Are you coming, or what?" Analissa laughed heartily. Tamar was what she named the little orange creature (which she now knew was a Drigus) she'd found. It had been 6 years since then, and Analissa had been living in the forest.
"Oh hush, you slow little human!" he called. It was common for the creatures to tease her and say things like "Just like a human." Tamar came running past, his long legs stretching as far as they could go. Analissa had a shawl around her shoulders, and a long skirt to protect her from the cold that had been growing stronger. Even the grass was less green. Finally the air began to warm up, the first sign that they were about to reach their destination. When she'd first arrived, Ria had told her that the place where the first girl had died remained warm. For a few square miles (the forest was huge, this being only a small part of it) the weather was unchanged. Every week since she arrived, Ana had been making the trip from her home in the center of the forest to this spot, to familiarize herself with it. Lately, they'd been readying it for a dragon. There were at the spot, now, where is was rumored the girl and unicorn had been before they departed this world. The magic was strongest there, and many flowers bloomed in an oval-ish shape around it. That was where the nest would be. "Dew should be here any minute," said Tamar, and as he did a faerie popped up behind them. She had white hair and a sort of blue tinge to her skin, and she claimed the beads hanging off of her clothing were actually small beads of dew. "Well, I'm here. You guys ready to get that stream flowing through?" The pair nodded. "Well, come over here and link hands. Just concentrate on me, send your energy to mee..." She drifted off as she absorbed the magic from Tamar and the smaller amount of magic from Analissa. Her eyes flashed white and they all heard rushing water growing nearer. "It's working.." Ana whispered to her companion. When they opened their eyes, a lovely stream was flowing through the forest just a few yards from the flower ring. "Great!" the human girl congratulated the trio. "Now, Dew, you can head on your way, unless you want to help Tamar and I setting up." "No, I've got to go. Thanks though." She smiled, and popped out of sight. "Let's get to work," Ana said to the drigus, and they did. For several hours they worked. When they were done, they had dug out a small pond (much thanks to Tamar's claws) and filled it with water from the stream. They even planted a few lilies in it. Inside the flower ring they wove a sort of bird's nest, only larger, for the dragon, lining it with soft grasses and flower petals. A willow tree hung over the nest very protectingly, and Analissa knew it was not a coincidence. A few birds had been requested to place emeralds and topaz amongst the leavs in the trees throughout the entire area, so that everything glittered. Finally, the girl took a small green orb out of her pack and place it in the nest.
"There," she said softly. "It's done."
