Fee Schedule:
$20 for each hour of research. First hour paid in advance, with number of hours specified.
Travel time: No fee for travel within Morgan County. One hour fee if travel is necessary to the counties of Walton, Newton, Oconee, Jasper, and Greene, to be paid in advance with the first-hour research fee. One and 1/2 hour fee for travel to Clarke, Barrow, Gwinnett, and Putnam, with other counties to be negotiated. No additional charge will be made for vehicle or fuel use.
Document copies: Cost only. This is usually 20 cents per page for computer printouts or photocopies, but can be a dollar or more per page for microfilm requests in some areas, and Georgia charges $10 each for death certificate requests even if no death certificate can be found. Any postage and long-distance telephone charges are extra, and receipts where practical will be provided.
Reports, charts, and notes: 50 cents per page, both handwritten and typed.
Payment: Cash. Checks will be accepted only for advance payment.
