The women who belong to the Dogg Clann Muzzleloaders are active participants.

    Some of our duties include: holding offices, co-ordinating and organizing event activities, working at camp work parties, working camp and shoot registrations, score keeping for shoots, and leading shooters through trails.

Our young women are carrying on the tradition of Rendezvous. They also actively participate in our club.
They not only shoot, they also lead participants through the shoot and hawk and knife trails.
Their day time hours are spent tending to the normal camp functions such as hauling water and wood...but there is still plenty of time for them to spend with their friends and have fun.

In addition to these activities, women also hold Ladies Teas, where we meet at a lodge, share tea and cookies, and swap recipes, gossip, and ideas. A good olde bull session.
   We also have an all women's round robin, where we trade off items of interest to women...from candles to chocolate!! You can hear our laughter all over camp!
   We also try to provide seminars and other events whenever possible. We have had herb/weed walks, and informal group discussions on clothing and other topics of interest.
   We are always looking for new ideas of interest to share with others.

As women, we also feel a deep connection with our Mother Earth. In our work parties, not only do we help clear the land for use, we also work to reclaim the land.
   With the removal of dead and decaying trees, we have planted grasses and over 50 varieties of native wildflowers that will benefit the wildlife of the area.
