OBEDIENCE TRAINING
We train dogs for obedience both for the real world and the obedience ring CKC or AKC. We do not bait train any of our dogs.  They work for us out of respect and love. We train to the dogs personality from the levels of novice through to utility. Our dogs love to work! We also train and trial dogs for clients and ocassionaly have trained dogs for sale.

PERSONAL PROTECTION
A personal protection dog has exceptional obedience and is trained to back down anyone who offers you (the handler) a physical or verbal affect.  The personal protection dog is trained on a six foot leash and never goes farther from his owner. He is a strong dog with good drive that will bite if necessary. This dog will also protect his car and his home.  75% of all dogs are suitable for this kind of work.  A dog must be evaluated before being trained for this kind of work and the owner of this dog must be trained to handle the dog appropriately. Anyone wishing to purchase a PPD must pass a thorough screening process.

TRACKING
Our dogs are trained with the method of "tracking through drive" and not footstep tracking. Statistically, this method of tracking has an overall find ratio of 50% and of 90% in rural areas.  A footstep tracking dog, (such as a schutzhund trained dog) has a find ratio of less than 5%. Our dogs first learn to find people, which is very rewarding. Eventually, they will also retrieve or indicate articles while tracking.  These dogs are a joy to watch as they love working and get excited when they see the harness come out.

POLICE DOGS
Dogs offered for sale to police organizations are trained specifically for the needs of that department. They are capable of attack work, drug detection, suspect search and seizure, transporting of suspects, and if necessary cadaver work, crowd control, bomb detection, etc.

SECURITY
A security dog is trained as an area guard for a specific area such as a retail outlet, lumberyard, airport hangars, warehouses, etc. One dog can cover an area of up to 4000 sq. ft. These dogs are socialized and approachable. This is no junkyard dog! He only responds to strangers aggressively on command or when he is on duty. He is a well cared for employee and member of the team.

SERVICE/ASSISTANCE
A service dog is trained to the specific needs of the owner.  He can assist the hearing impaired, or physically disabled.  He can perform tasks such as alerting the doorbell, baby crying, telephone, picking up objects, turning light switches on and off, opening doors etc. This dog  is an important companion with a very important job!
