Samoyeds are gentle dogs, peaceable and dignified, very devoted, they tend to favorite one person, but love everyone. They are easy going, friendly and quite playful. It will gladly be friendly to all, including intruders. They are too friendly to be of much use as a watchdog, although its bark will alert you to the presence to strangers. Samoyeds will usually live to about 12 to 15 years old. Height: males - 21 to 23-1/2 inches and females 19 to 21-1/2 inches. Weight: males - 45 to 65 pounds and females - 35 to 50 pounds.
