The Labrador Retriever is an affectionate and patient dog. Highly intelligent and high-spirited. They love to play, especially in water as they love to swim. Labs are easy to train, but need lots of attention, they want to be part of the family. This breed usually lives to between 10 to 12 years old. Height: Males are between 22 to 24 inches high, and females range from 21 to 23 inches high. Weight: Males should be between 60 to 75 pounds, and females between 55 to 70 pounds.
