Argentine Dogo



Origin: South America

Developed in the 1920's by Dr. Antonio Nores Martinez, the Argentine Dogo (also called the Dogo Argentino or Argentine Mastiff) was created by crossing the Great Dane, Great Pyrenees, Boxer, Pointer, Irish Wolfhound, Dogue de Bordeaux and Bull Terrier, among others, with the now-extinct Cordoba, Dr. Martinez was able to produce a fearless hunter with considerable stamina, capable of hunting jaguar and puma.
