Affenpinscher's are also known as "Monkey Terrier's", which name comes from their unusual facial appearance. The Affenpinscher is a breed of the Toy group. They range in size from 9 to 12 inches at the withers, and should weigh approximately 8 to 10 pounds. This breed is very loyal to family and friends, and are fearless towards threats. They are considered to be non-allergenic dogs, but they do shed profusely sometimes. Affenpinscher's tend to be extremely stubborn, which can make it hard to house train them.
