An updated database for Colin Jacobs(coljac@coljac.net) 'The Admiral'
Compiled and maintained by Jason S(doganpc yahoo.com)
Based off Colin Jacob' original which i'm sure he compiled from Wizkids official card gallery. I have nothing to do with Wizkids or coljac other than my interest in their products. This is used at your own risk, but if you manage to screw up your computer it's your own fault.

!!! Without this step you will be forced into re-entering	!!!

Due to some flaws in 'The Admiral' you will have to re-enter your cards before taking full advantage of this. This is due to the programs inability to identify identical cards, and the seemingly broken nature of the checklist function. Should that be fixed when you try to use this, you should be able to export a checklist and then import that checklist after importing this database.

What i've done:
Gave each card a unique identifier, so REV-033 would be Pirates of the Revolution #33. The exception being the Original spanish main, I left the already unique card identifiers there. I've done this for every card number that was already available and from the checklists included with the Pirates game packs. I'm sure there are a lot of Limited Edition cards that are not in the database and I plan on getting to them soon as I can get a complete list of them.

Gave each generic crew a place. I thought it was strange that the generics were not included in the original database. Since I felt it was limiting the programs use as a collection tracker I got to work on a "supplement" and eventually in the process of figuring it all out did the whole thing.

Used the flavor text column to hold an expanded description for crew. Mainly Firepot, Smokepot, Chainshot, Stinkpot specialists who included their full rules onto the card.

Some interesting things:
Colin's database included the flavor text for ships and crew, spiffy reading for those of us who are interested in such things and don't collect complete sets. To get at it, you'll have to read through the txt file since it's not a column that shows up in 'The Admiral'

This was all done in bits at a time over a month or so.

Apparently I had too much time on my hands.
