Turbine
I have found that there is not much info on how to use this cheat, so I am providing it here.
When playing the game, pause and type in "turbine" without the quotes. Then, while driving, press:
Ctrl-1 for forward thrust
Ctrl-2 for backward thrust
Ctrl-3 for upward thrust
Ctrl-4 For downward thrust
You will know the thrust is on, because a huge fireball will shoot out of your truck. Be prepared to act quickly. Because it instantly rockets you to 100+ KMH. Be careful not to crash, because a truck driven into a tree at 149KMH will only take about one more hit before it is irrepairable. when you crash with the extra thrust you will fly around and richotchet, so be careful! If you are going to crash, tap the rear thrust. You will stop. If you hold it, you will zoom backward. Also, the upward thrust can be useful for getting the jump on rival drivers.... literrally. I have been able to ride ontop of a rival for a few minutes. If you use the upward thrust, and then the forward while still flying, you can zip right over your rivals. You can also in some cases down the helicopter. Hit the top of it and it might get stuck on the ground. Very helpful for getting to Graystone. Also, it is near impossible to use it and keep your trailer. It can save you from falling into water, and you can jump most hazards (floods, pipes, rocks). Below I have some shots of it in action. |
