| My Dodge was brought to Finland in the year that it was manufactured (1938!), so it has been used here in Finland since then. There was a war in Finland against the russians (the country was called Soviet Union at that time) in 1940's and the Finnish military took the Dodge in their use then. The car got some bullet holes in it too at that time. After the war, the Dodge was used as a taxi. My Dodge was restored by a man called Juha Muukka, here in Finland. He used 2500 hours for the whole restoring job of this Dodge! He is very skilled (one of the best here in Finland) in car restoring. I have used my Dodge as a wedding car, there are a few of those wedding drives in a year. Pls. note we have temperature under zero Celsius degrees from October till March. I don't want to use the car under bad weather circumstances. During wintertime, I keep it in my heated garage, safe from the rough weather. Pekka Mauno |
