$2.00 s/h The debut CD from The
Winonas, featuring ex -Happy Accidents frontman
Paul Einhaus and drummer Jim Faulkner, along with
bassist Brandon Malik. Here's an excerpt from their
press release: The Winonas are an
exciting new three piece outfit from Michigan, and
Dodge/Paste records is happy to release their debut
CD single, "Keystone State," a bouncy, swingin'
rock and roll number. This combo from the Detroit
lowlands likes to blur the boundaries of Stax
R&B, Sun rockabilly, Chess rock'n blues and all
points in between. The two additional numbers on
this disc, "Georgia" and "Slim Harpo" feature a
moody, tremolo and slap back- laced swamp vibe and
a party -blues- and rhythm- 12 bar, respectively.

$7.00 +$2.00 s/h A few years back 60's
garage band vet Dan Angott wrote and recorded (in
his living room) a bunch of songs on his handy
little Tascam mini studio 4 track recorder. Armed
with a cheap guitar, bass, keyboard and drum
machine, he enlisted the help of a few good friends
(including The Winonas Paul Einhaus, among others)
willing to help him out, calling the project
Ellen's New Neighbors. You'll hear an awful
lot of influences here, from garage to pop, zydeco,
reggae, roots, 60's French film soundtrack music,
and even a little bastardized country. The CD is
jam packed with 21...count 'em,
21
original tunes in glorious Lo-Fi, delivered in
Dan's own inimitable style, of the "best" of the
bunch. Here are two fine early 90's
releases from The Happy Accidents, a high
energy Detroit quartet featuring two future members
of The Winonas: The vocals and dynamic song
writing of Paul Einhaus, and the explosive
drumming of Jim Faulkner. The Happy Accidents Mouthful Of The
