Well, with the motor in huge need of a rebuild, it seamed a good time to redo the engine compartment and interior.  Both had been left Factory black while the outside was painted white at some point.  The motor sprayed oil all over everything in the engine compartment every ride down the road, so a lot of clean up was needed.
The Hood was removed, then all the front sheet metal.  Every thing was scrubbed very clean and sanded.  Small rust spots were repaired and all sheet metal was coated in a shade of white (very close but not a perfect match).  The
Motor was pulled for the rebuild.  With everything out of the way, the firewall was cleaned and painted along with the exposed frame rails and anything else that could be reached with a brush or can.  Before Installing the rebuilt motor, all the wiring was re-soldiered and covered in heatshrink tubing.  It was also the perfect time to replace the tired warn out stock steering shaft with a new Borgeson Steering Shaft.
The Interior received the same treatment.  The entire dash was pulled and disassembled.  All wiring was repaired or replaced.  Some improved Stereo components were added and everything was painted.  Late model, lighted, vanity mirror, sun visors were even added.
