
Susan Carol Barnes - Susan has resided in London for more than 20 years. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 and her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1977, both from the University of Western Ontario. After articling at the firm of Poole, Bell, Porter, she carried on the practice of law as a sole practitioner, specializing in real estate, estates and wills. She is presently on leave of absence from full-time practice of law, having been elected the Member of Parliment for London West in 1993. She has taught several law programmes in the Law Society's Bar Admission course and through Western's Department of Part-time and Continuing Education. She has also been a member of various community boards, including the Advisory Board for the C.N.I.B., a director of the Brain Tumor Foundation and the U.W.O. Alumni Association. Susan is married and has three children.
