Celtic Football Club
This page is all about Celtic, The best football (soccer) team in the world. Celtic were founded in 1888 by Brother Walfred, an Irish Monk who came to Scotland to give the Irish men in Scotland something they could be a part of and be proud of it. Brother Walfred was inspired by Edinburgh Hibernian and decided to create his own football team. Celtic were going to be called Glasgow Hibernian bu it was soon settled that it would become Glasgow Celtic Football Club
Here we are again, ear the end of another fantastic season under Martin O'Neill. in the past two years he has transformed our team from just another team to a force to be reckoned with in Europe. It all started as we played Ajax in the Amsterdam Arena and we all remember what happened there. we went on to play against other large teams in Europe but only narrowly went out of both cups after winning all our home games in the champions league and being put out by Valencia (two times runner up in the Champions league cup final in two years) on penalties. But we always have the domestic game to fall back on as we are almost certain to win it again and with the old firm game on Sunday it will be a battle to see who will win. Rangers are only playing for pride as are we because the league is almost over. We then have the scottish cup which looks as if it is going to be an Old Firm final but when the time comes we know our team will always be the strongest of the two, because of the work rate that the whole team put in and how they fight for each other.
