Beers I've tried

Below will be rating of many of the beers I've tried.  Listed will be the brand of beer, followed in parentheses by the country of origin.  Next will be the style of beer.  Then will come the rating and an overall grade.

Corsendonk (Belgium) Pater: Dark, smooth, sweet beer with a mild hoppy finish.  7.5% Alcohol by Volume (ABV.)  Rating: 9

Leffe (Belgium) Radiuse:  Light but full-bodied beer which is hoppy and easy to drink.  Tastes similar to a pale ale.  8.2% ABV.  Rating: 8

Leffe (Belgium) Blonde: Light in color and taste, minimally hopped.  Easy drinking, and good for people that don't really like beer.  6.6% ABV.  Rating 5.5

La Trappe (Holland) Dubbel: A bit hoppy intially, but very little in the finish, which was quite clean.  Gave a rather odd taste on the tongue.  6.5% ABV.  Rating: 6     www.latrappe.nl

McChouffe (Belgium) Brune d'Ardenne: Light in color, yet dark in taste.  Rich beer with a hoppy finish.  Similar to Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout.  8.5% ABV.  Rating 7.5     www.achouffe.be

Grimbergen (Belgium) Dubbel: Full-bodied and hoppy, but with a slightly sour aftertaste.  6.5% ABV.  Rating: 5

Amstel (Holland) Bier: A non-watered down version of the American-sold Amstel Light (which is not available here.)  They have the same flavor, this one has more.  5.0% ABV  Rating:6

Westmalle Trappist (Holland?) Dubbel: Dark in color yet moderately bitter and easy to drink.  7.0% ABV  Rating: 7

Westmalle Trappist (Holland?) Tripel: Lighter than the dubbel in color and not very bitter, but does not have a watered down taste.  9.0% ABV  Rating: 6

Hertog Tan (Holland) Pilsener: Thin beer with a nasty aftertaste.  5.0% ABV  Rating: 2

Brand (Holland) Pilsener: Also has a nasty aftertaste.  Serve ice cold or not at all.  5.0% ABV.  Rating: 2
