Requirements

To qualify to become a(n) Badger Rager, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

Race: Gnome
Base Attack Bonus: +6
Feats: Two-Weapon Fighting, Weapon Focus (Clawed Gauntlet)
Other: Ability to Rage 2/day; must be a member of the Well-Respected Order of the Badger.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Badger Rager
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Badger ragers are proficient with light and medium armor. They gain no additional weapon proficiencies.
Badger Empathy: All badgers (even dire ones) view the badger rager as a trusted friend and will not willingly attack him. He gains a +4 circumstance modifier to all Animal Empathy and Handle Animal checks regarding these animals.

Badger Rage: Whenever the badger rager enters a barbarian rage, he can opt to use this supernatural ability as well. When activated, he transforms into a Dire Badger for the duration of the rage (the transformation is a move-equivalent action and can be combined with a normal move, run, or charge) as per the polymorph self spell. He gains all the physical statistics of a dire badger *(although his hit points do not change if his Con score changes), as well as all the raging bonuses and penalties as well as all the extraordinary abilities of the dire badger. His claws have all the enhancement bonuses and special abilities of his clawed gauntlets. He may also choose to allow some of his equipment to remain (not merge) in his new form. These can include armor (but not shields), rings, amulets, helms, bracelets, and belts. All are changed to fit his new form and are not damaged by the transformation.
* Note: as the badger rager’s class levels increase, so does the base strength of the badger he turns into during his badger rage.

Light Claws: At 3rd level, the badger rager treats clawed gauntlets as light weapons (despite their size).

Badger Mount: At 5th level the badger rager may call an unusually intelligent, strong, and loyal dire badger to act as his mount. Should this mount ever die, he may call a new one after a year and a day. A badger rager’s mount is a magical beast, not an animal, and gains abilities as the badger rager gains levels. Note: should the badger rager’s mount get damaged in combat, it may make a Will save (DC 20) to avoid entering a rage. Even if it fails, it may make another Will save every turn, and the badger rager maintains control over it.

Blood bond: the badger rager’s mount gains a +2 bonus to all attacks, checks, and saves if it witnesses the badger rager being threatened or harmed. This bonus lasts as long as the threat is immediate and apparent.
SR: the badger rager’s mount gains Spell Resistance equal to the badger rager’s class level + 12.

Additional Rage: At 6th level the badger rager gains one additional barbarian rage/day.

Dig: So long as the badger rager wields two clawed gauntlets he gains a burrow speed of 10 ft.

Badger Lord: At 10th level the badger rager becomes a veritable lord of badgers. No badger (even dire ones) will attack him unless the badger lord attacks him or her first. He can now shapechange at will into the form of a normal badger (although w/ +1 to Str & Con, and he may make saves as his mount to resist entering a rage) and he may use his badger rage a total of 4/day.
