Doctor Romo:  Hudson Valley Musician at large

Hello and welcome.  My name is Doctor Romo and I am probably best known as the accordion player from the Hudson Valley Cajun Band, Doctor Romo and the Cajun Swing Orchestra.  But did you know that I have been playing folk, old time, and bluegrass  music in the Hudson Valley since 1975?  I have played with various local bands and I am currently available as a solo musician or as a member in various folk, old time, bluegrass, and country rock gatherings. 

 

Tune in to WVKR 91.3 FM for Doctor Romo’s Cajun Medicine Show.  The Cajun/Zydeco show can be heard during winter and Spring break and during the summer months on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm. You can listen at  www.WVKR.org.
