WWSO-FM Soul Classics 92.9 in Virginia Beach, VA. Can't remember this guy's name, but he was doing the night show, and very pleasant person to work with.
WCMS-FM in Virginia Beach, VA. Program Director, John Crenshaw, is one of the good guys in radio.
WBZN-FM Z107 in Bangor, Maine
WARX-AM/FM in Hagerstown, MD. Engineer Roger Lide, and the night announcer, who is also an engineering/ham radio guy. That's an RCA BC-7 Console still in service on the FM. It sounds pretty good, too.
WARX-AM RCA 1Kw Transmitter from a difficult angle. That's a Kahn Symetripeak in the top of the rack.
KDDQ-FM Duncan, OK. New studio sectioned off from the lobby.
Production studio for KXCA-AM, KXCX-AM, KKEN-FM, and KDDQ-FM in Duncan, OK. Note the Gates 16 inch turntable on the left.
KXCX-AM Old 250 Watt Gates transmitter. Replaced by a 5 rack-unit Nautel. This old timer uses two 833's and is mostly empty. KKEN-FM's Harris 2.5H3 is to the left.
Hot tower for KXCX-AM and KKEN in Duncan, OK. Note the 4 leg section is the first 20 feet, then a catwalk with the real towers base insulator and the ATU bolted to the side. On the ground to the left is a rusty old rack with an old (And surprisingly working) VHF Marti receiver.
KRPT-FM Anadarko, OK.
KSMM-AM Spanish format station in Minneapolis, MN
WLUM-FM Rock 102.1, Milwaukee, WI
WJZI-FM Smooth Jazz, Milwaukee, WI. Across the hall from WLUM.
Production room for WLUM/WJZI
