| One day, when mild-mannered Taylor was 16 years old, he was digging through his math book one day to find the page his homework was on. Little did he know that an accidental turn to the wrong page would change his life forever... The picture to the right is reffered to as The MandelBrot Set, named after the Polish-born mathematician who discovered it, Benoit B. Mandelbrot (1923- ). My friends who choose to mock me like to call it blasphemous things such as "Buddah", or "Buddah's Butt" (This means YOU, Catherine). Other, more insightfull people say it looks like a leaf, or an abstract piece of art. It is actually the world's most famous fractal image to this day. Feel free to browse through my galleries (link below). The pictures include artistic fractals, fractals in their basic form, some pics of me and my frends, and that's about it. |
