You Make the Sunset
The other day in the sunset, I could have sworn I saw your face,
until it dissappeared behind the trees and did not leave a trace.
I stayed up a few nights wondering what that feeling could be,
until I looked into my heart and then it dawned on me.
Because you are the one that makes the sunset for the whole world to see,
and your love in the sunset shined your love down on me.
Now as time goes by I will always hope and pray,
that we will be together and that feeling will always stay.
But if our hearts are ever torn, and if you ever go away,
the entire world will know, because the sun will not set that day.
