Intern Hike to Point Reyes

Zack and Uyen lead the way as we head off on our 8 mile hike to the Pacific Ocean

Laura, Lindsey and I are packed and ready to go

Emily & Family, KC, Dr. West, Inessa and Karin stop at the half-way point surrounded by the abundant greenery in the background

Almost there!

We made it! The hike to Point Reyes was definitely worth it, as we had a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean on this beautiful sunny day

Budding photographer KC Cumbermack takes this unique photograph of Brian "unloading" two rocks out of his ass.  Talk about constipation!

In more photographic brilliance, Brian captures Karin and Lindsey holding the rock he just laid in the Pacific Ocean

Emily, her husband and baby share a special family moment atop Point Reyes

On the way back several deer welcomed us into their home.  This particular deer wiggled his tail as he sauntered along the trail

After a long and enduring hike, we all chow down on some fruit and cookies, then head back to Sacramento to begin three years of a hopefully fun and rewarding residency
