| What is the main difference between Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine? Chinese Medicine is more likely to treat the causes of the illness than Western medicine and it is safer than Western medicine. How does a Chinese Doctor make a diagnois? Diagnostic information from a Chinese doctor is gathered by four examinations(looking,Listening,Asking and Touching). Most important examinations are based on examining your tongue and wrist pulses. The condition of your tongue, its overall colour and the coating will tell the doctor about the condition of your internal organs. Each of us has 125 different pulse rates which the doctor has been trained to differentiate between them, then the doctor will be able to tell the state of your internal organs. |
