Dr. Alladin is currently a clinical psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at the Foothills Medical Centre. He is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Calgary. For over 25 years he has worked as a clinical psychologist with adolescents, adults, and couples in a variety of settings including health centres, mental health clinics, the Calgary Police Service, various corporate (EAP) organizations, and hospital based in- and outpatient programs. Before training as a clinical psychologist, Dr. Alladin was trained as a psychiatric nurse and a social worker.
As a result of the rich and diverse experiences Dr. Alladin has had, he is able to assess, treat, and address a wide range of psychological, emotional, occupational and health problems. His specialites include:
- anxiety, phobias, depression, and obsession
- family/marital counselling
- ADHD and learning difficulties assessments
- psychosomatic disorders
- asthma, hypertension, and ulcers
- counselling for grief or loss
- adjustment and coping with physical or medical problems
- multicultural counselling
- parental assessments
- stress disorders including job stress and burn-out
- adolescent identity concerns
- body dismorphic disorders and eating disorders
- chronic pain, headaches, migraines
- intellectual/cognitive, and personality assessments
- GATE assessment
- sleep difficulties, nightmares, and dissociative disorders
- sex therapy
- addictions
- behavioural problems, anger management
- self-esteem, confidence, social skills development
- traumas, abuse, and motor vehicle accidents (MVA)
- hypnotherapy
Referrals can be made by family physicians, social services, other helping professionals, or by oneself.

Dr. Alladin's services are not covered by Alberta Healthcare, however, most alternative or supplementary health plans provide full or partial coverage for therapy sessions.
