June 4 1990 Doc wanted 2 radiator fans to keep the Chicken Coupe cool during the 1/4 mile. Dick & Jim's provided the top one, and the bottom one he bought new. They were both wired to work together.

June 4 1990 The radiator is in, as well as the transmission cooler on the front of it.

June 10 1990 Linkage is installed.

June 10 1990 Eddie has built the second drive-shaft loop. Doc decided he wanted 2 drive-shaft loops after watching a racer at Woodburn Dragstrip catapult off the end of the track when his drive-shaft broke and dug into the pavement. When the drive-shaft let loose, it swung around and cut the brake lines. Fortunately, at the end of the track was a farmer's field, which the driver used to slow down his car and he was not injured at all. The driver's name is Steve Burns.
