The remains were brought back on the 24th, services beingheld at the Granger ME church on the day following conducted by Rev. H.P. Richards."

The funeral will be held at the Granger ME church, of which she hasbeen a member for many years, at 1 o'clock p.m. Friday, burial at Reid Hill cemetery."

Miss Nellie Sheldon died at the home of the late M.S. Sheldon, on Monday, May 21, of consumption. She was born in Granger and was 31 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Granger ME Church, attended by a large number of relatives and friends. A mother, one sister and brother are left to mourn her departure. The deceased suffered for many months, but bore her pain with the patience of a true Christian"

"It becomes my sad duty to chronicle the death of Anna, wife of Elwin Richardson, which occured on the 17th, age 30 years. 'Anna id dead,' came like a thunderbolt to many who supposed she was recovering. How little we can realize present agony and grief, and the emptiness of heart that are in those three words, 'Anna is dead'. Funeral services largely attended at GAR hall on Thursday last, conducted by Rev. Kneale of Granger. She was the daughter of M.S. Sheldon deceased, and leaves a husband and four small children, the youngest 11 months, who have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction"
