Mageknight well it is like D&D, and Gurps in a way. You are the
commander of you little
army which could be any where from 3 members to 25. Depending on the points for the game.
I love this game because I could play with monsters and take on other players.
Also it had a chants to winning or losing but most players made it fun. I have not
had time to get these back out and play since I quit running the games for my local
stores.
I plan on see it play again this year at Dragon*Con
Below is an old event list for Draon*Con 2004.
Event types for mage knight:
MKC = Conquest 2000point HTH.
Envoys running this event may change the army point size.
MK:H = HTH.
Standered is armys of 300 points. 500 points armys are what I like to see, but
this is up the the envoy.
MK:S = Sealed.
Sealed event rules will be used
MK:D = Booster Draft.
Sealed event rules will be used
MK:BR = Battle royal (8 player min).
1 booster 4 people per mat, 300 point. Both mats run at the sametime 4 players play until
two player
left on the mat then 4 players lefted move on to one mat and play until death.
MKD:H = Dungeons 100pt heroic HTH.
I don't care what type of dungeons you play on. 2d or 3d what every players want
MKD:LW = Dungeons Lone Wolf HTH.
Must play on map out of box
MKD:H* = Dungeons Championship (Winners from
the eight previois head to head tournaments).
Must be played on 3d and players must bring all there stuff that they will need.
E = Envoy only games
We Envoy get to have some fun too. :-)
Special: This will be all day long. 10,000 points per player. Using
Conquest rules.
Prize awarded for the top player and a single fellowship prize.
