Rares and Bootlegs
This page contains my rare items and bootleg items.  There are some extrememly rare muscle items that I have yet to add to my collection.  You can find out more about them on some of the other sites listed on my links page.
Satan Cross.  This figure was the first of the rares to be found.  Fairly common so he is no longer considered a super rare.  One cool thing about him is he is the first of the rares to be 100% confirmed as a legit muscle because he is the only one that has been found in US Muscle packaging.  Although somewhat common he still demands a decent price.
This is probably one of the sweetest pieces of my collection.  It is a sealed Satan Cross four pack.  I have only seen a few of these bad boys.  Living proof that SC was sold in the US.
These figures, although are not really rare, can not be found on the Muscle poster, which is why they are on this page.  The Kinnikuman figure is the same as the poster version, but just slightly smaller.  The Buffalo man figures are unique only to the wrestling ring and the mega match game.  Probably my favorite of the Buffalo man sculpts available.  As you can see below, not too difficult to come across.
These are the figures that come with the mega match game.  The grape figures are only available through this game.  All the green figures can be found throughout ten packs, four packs etc... except the Buffalo man sculpt.
Above are glitter kinkeshi.  I love these things, slightly rarer than regular Kinkeshi, these are not too difficult to come across.  Pretty cool little section of my collection.
These figures have confused me.  They are crystal clear and hold the all important ysnt trademark on the back like a legit kinkeshi, but due to thier color they are unlike all other kinkeshi.  I am nto sure if these are bootlegs or rares, still pretty cool though.
This is X-2 he surfaced around the same time that Satan Cross started getting famous.  Everybody thought he was a super rare like SC.  It turns out that he is from the Ramen Man series.  Ramen Man was so popular in Japan that they tried to spawn a series off of the regular Kinnikuman series, which is where this figure came from.  After a little research, I found out X-2's real name is Gurenken Enryu (roughly translated means fireball dragon), most often just called Enryu though.  His special attacks are guren ryuhou ken (dragon phoenix knife) and guren honou bunshin (fireball copy of himself) see the below pics for some shots of this rare in action (from the Ramen man series comic).
These are pretty cool bootlegs called future men.  They are a little better than the average bootleg and the packaging is pretty cool.  I only have one pack of the colroed ones, but they are pretty sweet too.  They contain sculpts from both the American and Japanese line of figures.
Here is my little assortment of bootleg figures.  I am not really interested in collecting bootlegs, most of these just sort of tagged along in large ebay lots purchased.  My favorites are the pink Sunshine and Green Goriki ones.
How can you tell??
One of the surest ways to tell if your figure is a legit Kinkeshi or Muscle figure is by looking for the all important trademark on the back side of the figures.  The picture on the left says HongKong that is bad hahaha.  All legit Kinnikuman and muscle figures will hold the Y/S NT stamp as you can see on the right.  Other ways you can tell is by color variations, or even firmness of the figure, don't get confused though because the Kinkeshi are soft and spongy unlike the firm American Muscles.
Home
This here is a "Super Rare" Satan Cross figure.  There is only a small handful of muscles deemed to be "Super Rare", maybe 15.  None of which are on the Muscle Poster and with many only one has been found.  Origin unknown, these Muscles have caused quite a bit of confusion and chaos among Muscle collectors.  Found by collecting God and great friend Johnny from the Akia, he was part of an 11 Super Rare jackpot of a find, later to be named Johnny's magnificent 11.  Details encompassing this find can be found on the AKIA forums in THIS thread.  Also more detailed information on all the Super Rares can be found HERE.  Personally, aside from the Prizm Man Super Rare, this is the coolest of the magnificent 11 and one of the coolest Super Rares to be found.  I love the huge hole going right through this monster.
Next we have the Robin Mask Super Rare,  This figure was also part of the magnificent 11 and the only one of its kind to be found (so far).  One of the cooler Robin Mask sculpts around this was a welcome addition to my collection.
To the left we have a comparison picture between the Super rares (middle), Muscle men (bottom), and Japanese kinnikuman kinkeshi (top).  Before recieving these figures, I was always skepticle about the authenticity of the super rares until I actually had a couple to see in person.  Let me assure any doubters that these appear to be 100% Muscle in every way, shine, firmness, color, and even smell for that matter.  I'm convinced and hope to be adding more of these unusual Muscles to my collection.
Here we have the part 30 Kinnikuman Coin.  I don't know much about its specific rarity, but it does have quite a demand on its price and is not too commonly found.  I love this thing and think it is really cool.  About the size of a silver dollar, maybe a little larger.
Don't know much about these, I have been told by a Kinnikuman expert that these were crystal clear chase figures for a Kinnikuman game or something.  I think they are pretty cool looking.
