I only recently found out that Angel is being cancelled by the WB.  If you ask anyone that knows me, I'm not that big of a fan of Angel as a character, however, the stories that Joss and the crew at Mutant Enemy provide are definitely worth saving.  As a side note, another one of the main reasons that I tune in every week is for the delectible Alexis Denisof, but I digress.....

If you don't want Angel: The Series to leave our television screens, there are a few things that you can do.  As a general rule of thumb, online petitions are ignored by the big wigs.  They simply treat it as spam and delete it as soon as it arrives on there screens.  Hard paper, on the other hand, is a lot harder to ignore. 

Send letters or postcards -- preferably postcards that show the city you're writing from -- detailing why YOU think Angel should remain on the air.  Do not be insulting.  Be positive and not rude.  And try to put your AGE, GENDER, CURRENT PLACE OF RESIDENCE, and (optionally) RACE.  The reason being that those in charge love to be able to see a demographic of those that want a certain show.  If they believe that there are enough people that they want to reach for advertising purposes, then they may reconsider cancelling a show that can rake in an income with sponsers.  After that, get at least six or seven other people to agree to send letters or postcards.  The more people that send complaints, the more TPTB and media will take notice.

DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!

Time is definitely an issue when it comes to announcements such as these.  If you can't do it today, do it tomorrow!!  Here is a list of people, in order of importance, that you can write to about continuing the series.  Send notes to as many of them as you can.  If you target the media outlets first, they'll see a possibility for a story in it and add to the support of the show.
