| Rules and Conditions of Probation |

| There are numerous rules and conditions offenders on probation/Parole must follow. These rules vary between each Court District, but are relatively similar. A standard set of rules and conditions include: |
| * Obey all city, state, federal and tribal laws. * No firearms shall be possessed, carried or available. * No use of alcohol nor allowed to enter a bar. * No use or possession of drugs nor paraphanelia. * Cannot associate with felons or persons violating the law. * May not leave the State of Oklahoma without permission. * Will consent to searches of their person/residence/vehicle at any time. * Will report as ordered to their Probation and Parole Officer. * Will pay supervision fees ($40.00) each month, unless waived or reduced due to hardship. * Maintain full time employment or student status. * Must keep officer advised of current address and whereabouts. * Will complete any treatment/program so ordered. * Will pay all court costs/Restitution related to the case. |
| * Additionally, there are various "Special" conditions that Court's may order: * Attend In-Patient Drug/Alcohol Treatment * Drug Court * Mental Health Counseling * Complete xx hours of Community Service * Nights or Weekends in County jail * Random Urinalysis * Electronic Monitoring * Intensive Supervision * Anger Management/ Domestic Violence Classes * Parenting Classes * Sex Offender Counseling * Attend GED or other Educational Programs |
| Sex Offenders must register with the Dept. of Corrections and local Law Enforcement. Additionally, they must supply a DNA sample of their blood. These Offenders are tracked for a period of 10yrs, or in the case of Habitual or Predators , for life. Violent Offenders who have committed crimes that are listed in Statute must also provide a DNA sample to the Dept. of Corrections for tracking purposes. This year (2001) Oklahoma Legislators are seeking to add crimes to the Violent list for DNA samples. |
