I'm really new to web design, and to be perfectly honest with you I don't see it getting any better!

What is Half Empty?

Right now I'm a solo artist!
I'm a volcalist, a damn good one too! Nobody seems to really give a shit about that in the military! Half Empty to me isn't really a pesamistic term, more of a realist meaning to how society works! Empty is empty!!! I realize that, but so are the minds of minds of mondern day society, so I like to brighten it up by being half of nothing! Better than being just plain empty!

Why did I go solo?

I haven't always been solo! In fact It really never crossed my mind! All the bands I've been in, and thats been quite a few, dedication was kinda on the low side! I was obsessive is how they put it!!! I don't deny that I love music!

What is my music history!?

I started learning music in junior high. I was a first chair clarinet player! It's harder than it looks! I quit that when I got to highschool because I really couldn't be energetic with classical music and a wooden flute!
I started my own band, and being from Seattle it was a Nirvana cover band called "The miniture killer Lassie's" I played rythm and sang.
Shortly after that I joined a hardcore punk band named Mullet! This was my first real band! We played party's and got second place in battle of the bands! (My PA exploded)
Then I joined hardcore death metal band called Artic Grass! We sucked and my pipes didn't like that much!
Joined the military and got away from everyone with my six string!
Got stationed in Oki fucking Nawa and realized the music scene is pretty damn amazing!
I was feening music so I joined the first band that would take me! Had to get myself out there. The drummer quit so I joined another band. Hardcore is real big in oki so my lungs got real good at screaming! Then I joined the best band I've ever been in! Played a lot of shows! I like to say it's and emo-punk style.. A lot of emotions and straight originals! RANDOM HERO was going good until our drummer was kicked out of the Airforce! After that I just got tired of trying to get myself hear I went solo! Needless to say, I'm moving along great!

Who are my inspirations?!

My number 1 insiration is my wife! She is really the only person in the world that knows my true love of music!

At a close second is AFI! These guys can lift my mood on the shittiest of days!

The Used also gets me motivated.

Can't forget Nofx, Thrice, Slipknot, Greenday, and Thursday! No use has a little spot in my heart aswell! It's safe to say I was raised by these guys!

I play soft punk right now!! Sounds the best with what I have. I am going on 5 originals and still going. Hoping to play at a couple of bars soon! I'll keep you posted.
