Atrial Fibrillation with a ventriclar response of 60/min. Note the episode of Ashman's Phenomenon. Ashman's is an aberrantly conducted beat characterized by a longer than normal conduction rate followed by a shorter than normal conduction rate. Lidocaine will probably be ineffective in treating this arrhythmia.
