| A Float |
| On a river I will be, land in the clearing I still can see. Day of pleasure it should be, we're allowed days alike, you and me. Winds aware, frightened me, sails began carrying me, out to open seas. Lost, frightened and unaware, no land around me anywhere. On my knees in my boat, heart of prayers begin to float. Now a calm came over me, for I knew the Father's calling me. Seas and oceans, they can part, making way for me to depart. As I lifted my head from prayer, people standing on the shore, the land close to see. Opened wide His Hands will be, as He stands and welcomes me. ASIC 4/15/2000 |
