I'm Tom from Providence, RI and I have Myko, a black and rust male from Boo & Bullet's Dec 06 litter (he turns 1 tomorrow!!!).  You will find yourself VERY pleased with a DobieDen pup and Lisa & Ernie.  I too was looking for temperment first.  I visited the DobieDen to view the puppies at approx 10 pm one night.  Ernie took me outside to see the kennel first.  So this 6'3" 200+ lbs guy walks in behind "Dad" late at night.  A bunch of dobies poked their head out of their kennels.  Not knowing any of these dogs, I immediately stayed in the middle of the kennel with my hands folded in front of me.  Ernie was talking and turned around and asked what was wrong.  Told him I was being cautious around strange dogs.  He chuckled and said, "not these dogs".  Then he open several of the kennels and multiple dobermans came out and wanted to be petted and started licking me.  I sat right there and thought "I'm buying one of their puppies" (that was before I even saw them!!!).   I haven't been sorry since.

Myko is approx 90lbs at the year mark.  Lisa & Ernie guessed he would be between 90-100lbs.  From what I heard, he still has a little more growing to do.  He's also in his third dog training class (advanced level) and will try for his AKC Canine Good Citizen award in mid/late January.  If successful, I may have him certified as a pet therapy dog.

In addition to Lisa & Ernie's support, you'll get a lot of support from the other owners of their puppies.  It's a great group!!

Unfortunately, I am in Mexico on business this week, otherwise I'd send you a picture of him.
