(The dog known as "Scout" was rescued from his buyer when it
was determined he was chained outside and neglected. Brought back
to the Dobieden and brought back to a healthy, happy puppy, his ears
were then cropped and he was loved back to his sweet self. Scout
is now named Banx and lives very happily with his 4 legged English lab
sister, Stella, in Maryland.)
Yes,
you would be correct on Banx.he IS a wonderful dog and now has a
WONDERFUL home! He is spoiled rotten and the only thing he does
with trees now is try to eat them.LOL. He has over an acre to
run and he is free to run around my FENCED in yard!!!!!! WITH his
choc English lab sister, Stella, who was a rescue, but only because I
work in the veterinary profession for years. My husband and I
applied to many dobie rescues and I always felt like it was an
inquisition every time we had to deal with them. Our house was the
IDEAL house for a dog. We have a fenced in yard, yes it is only 5
feet and that was an issue, an acre + of land to run and almost 3000
square feet of house to roam in! We dont have any kids either!
PLUS we are prior Doberman owners. How much better can you
get for those rescue groups? I got so tired of waiting and dealing
with all of them and that is how we found Lisa and Ernie. Lisa knows the
rest of the story.
I
cant even stress enough how kind and compassionate Lisa and Ernie are
as breeders. I deal with a ton of breeders on a daily basis and
you wouldnt believe some of the horror stories I have heard.
Lisa and Ernie treat their dogs as family and not commodities!
That is the way it is and most breeders are in it just for the money and
that is all. Lisa and Ernie are truly an exception to the rule!!!!!
Kelly
and Mike and Banx and Stella!
