You'll have to follow this page by date.  What started out as what we thought was a good home for our pup, turned into a questionable issue because of over-medication, and not following directions.  We can only hope the pup will be safe because we have chosen by their threats and harassment, not to offer them our lifetime support for their pup.  Ernie and I will not be threatened, and then continue to assist people who have no appreciation for experience of dog matters.  So they loved the puppy when they got her in early April 2015, and then brought her back for us to take her to our vet for an ear crop.  Our vet gave her a clean bill of health from the time he cropped her tail at 4 days old, to the time he did her ears.  It was only after they had her at their house again, after over medicating her in July, that they say any loss of hair around her eyes.  They tried to convince us that is was genetic/hereditary and wanted us to pay the vet bills, which they stated were around $3000.  Turns out, they had put a dog down for the same thing earlier, and had not mentioned it.  So now a new pup, with immune deficiencies from being over-medicated BY THEM, was in a house that had mange in it previously!  So the pup was great when they got it, was great after they got it back after the ear crop, and was great till they put too much flea preventative on it, too early.  Now we're bad breeders, selling sick dogs, according to them.  We have several generations of our dogs here, same bloodlines, and no one has any mange here.  Never have we had mange or parvo on this property.  None of the other pups in this litter, or Bonny's previous litter, have any immune deficiency or mite problem.  So the only common denominator is THEM!  Clears us and proves that we have excellent, healthy pups.  Even they loved the pup till 2 weeks ago!

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that we sent out the deposit by check through the mail today. I didn't know if we mentioned it when we met you guys but we are going to want to do a limited registration on the puppy because we're going to have her spayed. I am also looking for a veterinarian to do the ear cropping right now. I've talked with 10th Street Animal Hospital in Greenville, but haven't set up a consultation yet to look at the docs portfolio. I didn't know if you guys knew if that was a good doc or not for cropping or if you know of one that does good work since yours is semi retired. So if you know of anyone, just let me know. We're excited and trying to get everything ready for the puppy.
                                 Thanks,
                          Whitney Faulkner

2/25/2015 (concerning our assistance on ear cropping)
Ok, thank you so much. Yea I thought that was ridiculous too, I mean the doctor is the only one in Greenville who does cropping so you would figure he'd be proud enough to post pictures on their site but he doesn't. The whole consultation thing turned me off and that's why I wanted to ask you first. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather do as much through you guys as I can because I know you're reputable breeders and know what you're talking about because you've been doing it for so long. Plus part of my husband's family lives in Kinston and the other part lives in Grifton so it's not a big deal to drive out there. But like you said when the time comes we'll get together on the cropping and stuff. I really appreciate you guy's help.

That's awesome, that definitely takes alot of stress off me. If ya'll will give me some sites to give you a good review, I definitely will. You guys are the best breeders I've ever dealt with.  But yes I'll be happy to give you guys a great review, you guys definitely deserve it. If you can get the link, send them to me. I'll get around to it tmrw. If you cant, I'll put the word out on Facebook about what good breeders you are.

Thanks for all the paperwork with the testing, I knew those other tests could be done and figured you had probably already done it on your dog's but I didn't expect you to go through all that paperwork for the other testing. I do appreciate it though, it's just another reason that I feel comfortable buying a puppy from you guys.

3/16/2015 (after rescheduling 3 other people to come pick up their pups so Whitney and Daniel could come at their convenience)
Yea I would prefer if you held the other person off till later that afternoon because we would have to come earlier in the day anyways. Daniel has to be in Aurora for work by 6:30 so we can be there around 1 or 2. Can the other person come later than that?

4/24/2015
Oh and I'll make sure to get her weight too. She's getting big and lots of compliments on how pretty she is.

(showing they overmedicated her with antibiotics and dewormer that she didn't need)
Ok Athena weighs 16 lbs exactly, they said it was definitely puppy vaginitis and that it would clear on its own but I requested antibiotics so she's on a course of Amoxicillin. I went ahead and let them give her the 8 week booster because Daniel wanted to carry her to a training class tmrw. And she was also worm free, but they gave her dewormer anyways.

4/26/2015  (problems with drinking?)
Ok I couldn't remember if I had told you a time or not. My high school friends who I haven't seen in 15 yrs threw a party, and I partied WAY too much lol. But yes, we'll be there between 3 and 4.

5/17/2015  (had to mail back the toys they left here, another expense on us!)

Hey, with all that's been going on with my doctor's appointments, I just got to check the mail. Thank you so much for sending those toys back to us, the worm especially lol, that's Athena's favorite. It was so funny seeing Athena Faulkner on the package, but it was so cute. I hope the new pups are doing well. We've been doing her ear posting ourselves, but I still freak out and want to unwrap, then wrap them again to make sure they're not too tight, I'm a worry wart if you couldn't already tell. But I'll talk to you later, we're already wanting another one but we need a bigger house first lol.

                                           Thanks,
                                           Whitney

5/17/2015  (stating clearly that her health is fine!)
Ok, well she hasn't been anywhere but the dog park and our home. Her health is fine, she's such a happy dog and I've been more concerned with socializing her with adults and children, which seems to be going great with. But I'll steer clear of the parks till this last set then. I was thinking after the 8 weeks, it was ok for parks, but thanks for the advice, now I know and I'll let my friends with new pups know. I've been giving your website and cards out like crazy too!

July 21

So me and Whitney took Lily and Athena to the dog park to play. Athena has been following Lily around and running circles around her as if she were trying to detect any dangers ahead of her. I wouldn't trade anything in the world for either one of my little girls.

8/16/2015   (first mention of ANY issue, and showing the use of SEVERAL flea medications at the same time on a 5 month old puppy....)
Hey, I know you're busy with a new litter but when you get a chance please email me back. I've noticed Athena is starting to have some hair loss around her eyes. I wash her with puppy shampoo once every few weeks. This past few weeks is when I noticed it and I'm not sure if it's the Frontline I put on her or the heart guard Plus they gave me at the vet. I was just wondering if you might have any insight into it. I switched her drops from Pet Armour to Front line and I think this month was the first time she's had the heart guard plus, I usually just buy the regular heartguard. She was given both of these meds on the 14th of last month so she's due for them again but I wanted to find out if any other dogs had hair loss from either of these.   Ok, thanks. I have a feeling her problem might be related to those meds.
                                 Thanks,
                                 Whitney

**********After the harassment started by Whitney because she overmedicated the pup with flea medicine and caused the auto-immune deficiency in the pup that she is trying to blame on us, it turns out she also drinks and that's probably what started it.  Great way to bring up a kid and a pup.

Well she's a woman she thinks only the worst of everything. I don't see anything as bad as she's trying to blow it out of proportion, BUT I wouldn't get too upset with her she has been drinking and it intensifies when she does that. No harm done

Even Daniel agreed that Whitney was the one at fault, blowing it out of proportion, and that nothing was wrong with the pup.  It was because she was drinking again, and that probably intensified the issue.  No matter, we are done with both of them.  Proof here shows that we sold them a great pup that they caused to have medical problems.  Proof here shows that Daniel agreed that Whitney was causing the problem, and proof here shows that we are not at fault for any medical issues, but because of her harassment, we have cut them loose to work with someone else who will work with them.  We do not accept that form of response to any help offered.
