Late morning, Feb 19, we lost our tiny angel! Because of fluid buildup in her stomach, and possibly in her lungs,
she never really thrived. She didn't pick up on nursing very well, and even supplement feeding couldn't get her started.Our Angel baby, who saved her mama, and the rest of the litter, took her last breath when she was only 2 days old.
Our dear friend, Luellyn, said that must be the reason for her short, but important life.
She is the guiding light of this litter, and will be buried next to her great great grandmother, in our memorial garden.The rest of the pups had their tails and dewclaws done today, at 3 days old.
The pups are very large, exceedingly strong and hard to hold!
