This is a two player game, with one player being X and the other being O. X always goes first. Players automatically switch being X and O after each game.
The person playing X starts by clicking on one of the squares in the three by three grid. The person playing O then clicks on another square. Players take turns until one player has three in a row (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), or until all of the squares are filled.
The game ends when all of the squares are filled or one player has his or her mark in three squares in a row.
