Ok.... here's the scoop
Through no fault of his own, long-time Busch series driver Mike McLaughlin is in a bind. The owners of "Angela's Motorsports" have deserted him, the team that was assembled, and even the sponsor. The team was led to believe that there was a $5 million sponsorship contract signed when actually there was none. When the payroll checks and other checks began bouncing, the whole thing fell apart, leaving people with no pay, and a dream in shambles.
Upon hearing this story, the faithful listeners of XM radio's NASCAR channel (#144) had a fit. The station was overwhelmed by calls offering everything from money to trucks for hauling cars to Daytona. Because of all the support he has received, Mike will be able to race in Daytona at least. His car will be the #39 XM Nation car.
