The position of District Treasurer is one that is in a period of great change. With the approval of the addition of overseeing the Outreach Program to the District Treasurer's duties, the position has taken on a brand new importance in the Florida District. As this is the pilot year for that particular duty, the person holding this position will have a chance to set a standard by which future treasurers may operate for years to come. It is an exciting and challenging role to accept.
I have included this year's district budget. While the creation of the district budget is a function of the Florida Kiwanis Foundation, it is the duty of the treasurer to be fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the budget, as well as present it to the board for approval

The Treasurer's Chest is a fundraising manual of the Florida District. It is your job as District Treasurer to see it updated and distributed to clubs.
The membership figures are to give you an idea of which clubs have what number of members. It is your duty to encourage clubs to pay dues in a timely manner.
Also included are the reimbursement form, budget archive info., and a sample newsletter, for informational purposes.
