On the birth records of her children, Maria Elisabeth is sometimes
identified as Maria, and sometimes as Elisabeth. This isn't uncommon
in old German parish records. Researchers who examined these records
believe it is one person, Maria Elisabeth. She's apparently named
Elisabeth on the records for Margaretha and Anna Grete and Maria
on the record for Jan Harm.
