Fred C. Tiedeken, 61, Buried Here Wednesday Fred C. Tiedeken, 61, died Sunday, April 18, at Madelia, Minn. He had been in poor health for some time. The body was brought here, and funeral services were held yesterday morning in Saint Patrick's church. The pastor, Rev. Fr. L.W. Klaasen officiating at the Mass. Interment was in St. Patrick cemetery. Mr. Tiedeken is survived by three brothers, Conrad, Henry, and Edd, all of Madelia, Minn. and one sister, Mrs. George Nicklaus of Parkersburg. The family lived on a farm north of town, a number of years ago, before moving to Minnesota, and there are many friends who extend sympathy at this time. Tiedeken Dies At St. Peter Many old Madelia friends of Frederick C. Tiedeken will regret to hear of his death which occurred at the State Hospital in St. Peter on Sunday morning, April 18th. Mr. Tiedeken was born in Germany about sixty years ago. For many years he made his home on his farm a few miles northwest of Madelia. the cause of his death is given as chronic nephritis. Fred is survived by three brothers, Ed, Conrad and Henry, of Madelia, and by one sister, Mrs. George Nicklaus, of Parkersburg, Iowa. Funeral services were held at Parkersburg at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, and burial was at that place. From a newspaper clipping, publication unknown, probably the Madelia paper.
