There had been rain the night before, but we braved the wet to ride up this popular trail. We met in the parking lot and checked out the scenery:

Bud, just cruising! Don't let him fool you, this was a tough, technical ride, especially with all the water.

The view at the top makes the hard climb worth while.

Just as we reached the top, Carla, who gave us a 30 minute headstart, came storming up from behind. After we soaked in the view, we got back on our bikes and finished up the loop and then cruised downhill back to the parking lot. The water made it slippery in spots and added to the excitment of the decent. We all made it in one piece, a great ride!

Safe and sound, if a littler dirtier, ready for our next adventure!
