No one knows when they came about. They are very gentle, yet very ferocious when they have to be. They resemble humanoids with a feline head and fur covered bodies. Their looks range from panther, lion, tiger, cougar and so on. A family of Lynxx may all look different. Lynxx recieve a +4 bonus make to any skill checks involving the species of cat they most resemble. This overlaps not stacks with the normal bonus they get to spot, search, and listen. Like cats they have tails, as well as sharp claws and fangs. The fur of a Lynxx is one solid color, except for the fur on their stomach. This fur is usually at least two different colors, which form intricate patters. The patterns are unique to each Lynxx. No two living Lynxx ever have the same exact pattern formation. This makes each one very unique. Clan elders record the patterns at birth in the hall of knowledge. Though no two living Lynxx have the same patters on rare occasions a Lynxx is born with the same pattern as one that had previous lived. They believe that this is the reincarnated soul of the first Lynxx to ever be born with those patterns, and when they are born it is usually a sign that dark times are coming. They live in the jungles and forrests of the world. Building villages and cities in the branches of ancient trees. Lynx have a great reverence for nature in all its forms. They are protectors of the forrests. Felines of all varieties are held in high esteem, to kill a feline in Lynxx territory it a crime punishable by death.
