Objective:  Student's will be able to State and Apply the Pythagorean Theorem
 

1.  Write a brief paragraph and illustrate the meaning of the Pythagorean Theorem.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

2.  Draw three separate right triangles(using a straightedge).  Label the vertex points with capital letters and numbers for the length of the three sides.  Make sure the numbers you have selected verify the Pythagorean Theorem.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

3. Write a  paragraph and/or illustrate 5 "real world" examples of the Pythagorean Theorem.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

4.  Write a paragraph or two on the impact of the Pythagorean Theorem on our world today.
