Chapter Eleven: [Los Angeles, California -- March 29th, 1998]

AJ knocked on the guest room door that Justin has spent the night in. When he didn't get a response after two knocks, AJ slowly opened the door and smiled big, giggling a little when he saw how Justin had fallen asleep. "Justin...hey dude...it's almost noon, you wanna get up?"

Justin groaned as he wiggled around a bit and changing the position of his head to facing the other direction. He didn't wake up.

Laughing more, AJ walked over to the bed and gently shook Justin. "Hey curly...you wanna wake up or you wanna sleep all day?" He personally didn't mind if Justin did, hell he remembered sleeping almost all day when HE was seventeen.

"Go away," Justin mumbled, blindly raising his hand and waving it in the general direction he heard the voice come from. "Five more minutes, mom."

"I sure hope I'm not your mom," AJ laughed as he backed away from Justin. "I guess I'll just have to throw out all the captain crunch."

Captain Crunch? Justin's mind started to slowly makes its way up to being awake. "Wha...?" Justin drawled out, his southern accent being prominent. Justin opened his eyes and looked around, confusion written all over his face at the unfamiliarity of his surroundings. "Where the hell..." Justin quickly got up and wiped the slight drool from the corner of his mouth and scratched his head as he saw AJ. Then everything from the previous day started coming back to him. "Oh!"

"Hey, sleepy head," AJ giggled and smiled at Justin. "Welcome to the land of the living, are you hungry?"

Justin mutely nodded his head. "Give me a minute," he said after a few seconds. "I'll be right there."

AJ nodded his head as he headed out of the room to give Justin some time. He then headed downstairs and got them both a big bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice. Taking a deep breath he sat down at the table, trying to get his mind to totally think clearly so he knew what to say when Justin would come downstairs. Sleeping on things hadn't really done any good except make it so he practically got no sleep because he was so worried about what was going to happen.

As soon as AJ left Justin walked into the bathroom and the first thing he did was brush his teeth before quickly getting out of his clothes and jumping into the shower. Five minutes later he turned the water off and looked at himself in the mirror and frowned at the red wrinkles on his face... caused by the folds on the sheets he'd fallen asleep on. Blah. He then went out into the bedroom with his towel wrapped around his waist and dug through his bag. He picked out a pair of gray sweats pants, black boxers, and a white sleeveless shirt. In a matter of two minutes Justin was dressed and he padded his way down the stairs. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs... lost. He didn't remember just where all the rooms were. "Marco," Justin called out.

AJ's eyebrows knitted together when he heard Justin saying 'Marco', it was then that he realized Justin didn't know his house yet. "In here Justin," he called knowing he would be able to follow his voice.

Justin heard AJ's response and followed the sound to the left and before long he was standing at the door way of the kitchen. "You're SUPPOSED to say 'Polo'," Justin stated. "That's the whole point with the whole 'Marco Polo' thing!" Justin walked over to the little island in the center of the kitchen and took a seat on one of the stools. "Morning."

AJ laughed and shrugged his shoulders as he took a bite of his cereal. "That's yours...if you want it that is." he said hoping Justin couldn't sense how nervous he was.

Justin looked at the center of the table to see a bowl of cereal. He smiled. "How did you know I liked Captin’ Crunch?" He brought the bowl closer to him and took a big spoon full of it. "You got any orange juice?"

AJ pointed at the cup of juice also in the middle of the table as he chewed another mouthful of his own food.

"Oh," Justin blushed. "Didn't see that," After a few minutes of silence he asked, "You're not a morning person are you 'cuz I'm not either?"

"Normally, I am kind of. I mean I don't care for mornings much but I don't mind them either." AJ kind of rambled, a sure sign he was nervous. "I guess I'm just trying to figure out what to say," he admitted, looking up at Justin.

Justin shrugged as he took a spoonful of his cereal. He chewed and swallowed before speaking. "Say whatever you want to say. It's just me," Justin said.

Hearing Justin say that made AJ feel like maybe last night hadn't really meant anything to the younger man and as scary as it was that really made AJ feel sad. Taking a deep breath he knew he just had to flat out ask or talk about it. "Do you remember what we talked about last night?" He didn't know why Justin wouldn't remember it wasn't like they had been drunk or something, but he still asked.

Justin looked up at AJ. He was quiet for a few seconds trying to figure out AJ's sudden outburst. "Of course I remember last night," he said frowning. "Why wouldn't I remember last night?"

AJ shrugged his shoulders as he moved his spoon around in his bowl of milk. "I don't know why it was a dumb question," he said, not looking up.

"It's not a dumb question," Justin said. "I just figured we'd talk about it after we've had our breakfast."

AJ simply nodded his head; his mind was so jumbled up with thoughts of what was going on between him and the curly blonde teen that he didn't really know what to say or if he could even say anything for that matter.

Justin watched AJ curiously. "Unless you want to talk about it now, then that's fine too."

"Go ahead and eat, I know you're hungry," AJ said with a smile in Justin's direction as he got up to put his dish in the sink.

"I know that too but THAT response doesn't answer my question," Justin pointed out. He finished the cereal in the bowl before drinking the milk and the finishing off the orange juice. "What's on your mind?" Justin questioned as he got up and walked over to the sink to place his empty dishes in it. He turned and looked at AJ, who was right next to him.

"Do you still feel like you did last night after sleeping on it?" AJ asked, praying that Justin didn't feel different now that it was a new day and things could be seen in a different light.

"No," Justin said, his expression serious. "I don't feel the same way."

AJ felt like he was going to be sick as he ran a hand through his hair attempting to keep himself under control. He wasn't going to run from the room or cry like some girl. "Oh...okay..." he said, hoping that he sounded like he didn't care but he knew his tone of voice said anything but.

"AJ," Justin's voice was soft as he placed his right hand on AJ's left bicep. "Last night I was unsure of everything that was going on. I didn't know what to think and I was half asleep, basically. But now I'm fully rested and wide awake. I'm not confused anymore. What I said last night before you kissed me on my cheek and left... that I like you... well, it's more like I like you A LOT!" Justin stated... trying to explain the way he was feeling and his reasoning for his previous answer.

AJ's head shot up and he couldn't help the smile that came over his face when relief washed through his body. "Really...you do?" he asked and then groaned at how dumb he knew he sounded.

Justin chuckled and removed his hand so that he could shove it in the pockets of his sweat pants. "Yah," he answered looking right in to the chocolate brown eyes of AJ. "Yes, do... what about you?"

"I really like you too, I mean I..." AJ stopped what he was saying before he totally embarrassed himself. He was going to say he was almost in tears when he thought Justin didn't like him. 'I don't want to embarrass myself right off the bat' he thought to himself.

"You what?" Justin gently prodded. He wanted to know just what was getting AJ so flustered and he was curious as to how that sentence ended.

"Almost felt like crying when I thought you didn't have feelings for me," AJ mumbled almost so softly that it was hard for him to hear himself.

Justin smiled, his stomach doing flips and somersaults. "It's hard not to have feelings for you Age," Justin admitted. After a few seconds of silence he said, "I need to ask permission for my parents if I could go... ya'll are getting on the bus tonight right?"

AJ had almost forgot about the tour with all the other stuff that had been on his mind. "Shit...you're right...I haven't even packed yet," he said as he pushed himself off the counter with a groan.

"Me neither," Justin said chuckling. "Um, could you like come with me back to my place and ask my parents... like explain it to them just what's going to happen?" Justin questioned shyly.

AJ smiled and nodded his head, "Yeah I can do that...but I think it would be best if we don't like say anything about us yet ya know. I mean...whatever us is anyway."

Justin nodded his head. "Of course, definitely, we should like go now so we know the answer."

"Okay, let's go," AJ said as he grabbed his keys off the kitchen counter. Then before Justin could go anywhere he moved in front of him and gave him a soft kiss on the lips.

Justin was caught of guard with the soft kiss AJ planted on his lips. "Hey," Justin said with mock anger. "That's it?" He questioned with a slight pout. "I wasn't expecting it and like well... it was like so fast... I want an encore!"

AJ laughed as he put his hands on either side of Justin's face and pulled the young man's head towards his and this time when their lips touched the kiss wasn't just soft and gentle.

Justin placed his hands on AJ's waist, pulling him close to his body, melting into the touch. Jolts of electricity shot from his lips straight down to his toes. He moaned and smiled into the kiss.

AJ smiled too as he took it upon himself to lick at Justin's lips, asking as polite as these things could get, for entrance. He wasn't sure how experienced Justin was with this sort of thing so he didn't want to pressure him. All he knew was Justin had never been with a man before, but that didn't mean he hadn't done a whole hell of a lot with girls. That was something AJ found himself needing to ask the next time he got the chance, right now he was really enjoying the kiss.

Justin opened his mouth to allow access to AJ's tongue and pulled AJ closer to him, if that were possible considering that AJ was already pressed up against Justin. He needed to, he wanted to get as close to AJ as he could. Titling his head to the side he deepened the kiss and before long be pulled back slightly out of breath. With his eyes closed he leaned his forehead against AJ's. "Wow," he whispered.

"Yeah, wow," AJ laughed huskily as he too attempted to catch his breath. He couldn't remember a single kiss feeling so good before.

"Hmm," Justin said as he licked his lips. He wanted to kiss AJ some more but knew that they had to go to his place and get permission before anything else can be done. "We should get going," Justin said sounding sad.

AJ nodded his head, knowing he wanted to talk to Justin some before they started kissing again and AJ found himself losing control. He was proud of himself for keeping himself in check as well as he had through the last kiss. "Yeah, come on." he said pulling back all the way and taking Justin's hand, leading him out to the garage.

Justin quietly followed a big smile on his face the whole entire time. They got in the car and before either one of them knew it they were pulling up the driveway to Justin's house. Justin quickly got out of the car along with AJ and escorted them inside. "Mom? Dad?" Justin questioned as he walked in to the living room. He smiled when he saw his mom sitting on the couch reading the newspaper.

Lynn looked up from her paper and smiled at Justin and then smiled at AJ. "Good morning honey, and AJ, it's good to see you, it's been a while," she said politely.

AJ smiled too and nodded his head. "It's nice to see you again too Lynn...it's been too long," he said also trying to be as polite as possible.

"Uh huh," Justin said as he kissed his mom on the cheek and sat down beside her indicating AJ to sit across from them in the single chair. "Mama, AJ has something to ask you." Justin chuckled.

AJ's eyes went wide as he looked at Justin and then at Lynn, blushing a little when she looked right at him. "Umm yeah...I'm sure you've heard about what happened to Nick..." he paused and waited for her to nod and when she did he continued.”...well we're leaving on tour tomorrow and have found that we don't have anybody who knows Nick well enough to take care of him while we're out doing promotional stuff and concerts at night. Myself and the rest of the guys think Justin would be our best bet, so I guess I'm asking if Justin can go on tour with us."

Lynn looked shocked before she looked over at Justin. "Justin, you do realize you're only seventeen years old and still have school to attend to. It's not really possible for you to go gallivanting around the world with a pop group."

Justin put on his best puppy dog eyes and stuck his lower lip out, making it quiver just right as he looked at his mom. "But they said they would get Nick's tutor to tutor me."

Lynn sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Justin, I'm not sure I want you that far away from home, and plus how are you going to do school work when you're having to take care of a two year old. I'm sure you've noticed they are a lot of work."

"Yah, but it's not like I'll be doing that 24/7. I only look out for him when the guys are performing, rehearsing, or have to make an appearance or something. The rest of the time I'm sure the guys will be around especially Brian," Justin said then looked over at AJ for confirmation.

AJ nodded his head, but not really sure if he should point out exactly how much of their time on tour was busy doing all those things that Justin mentioned. "We'll make sure Justin has enough 'Justin time'."

"Do you really want to do this?" Lynn asked, looking Justin right in the eye. She could always tell when her son was lying about something if she looked into his eyes.

Justin looked right back at his mom. He nodded his head. He really did because this was Nick they were talking about. "You know how close Nick and I are, well, how close we were but I don't care that things have changed. I've made a promise that I'll always be there for him, no matter what and I know he would have done the same for me if the roles were reversed." Justin paused. "You know how Nick was... you practically called him your second son. What do you think I should do then?"

Lynn thought about what Justin was saying and nodded her head. She had always thought the Carter's were weird with the way they treated their son and that was not knowing any of the things they had actually done to him. "Go ahead...but if I found out any trouble is being caused for whatever reason you're coming back here, you understand?"

Justin nodded his head. "Yes, mama and it's not like I'll be gone forever... just a little while!" Justin then thought about something else. "You'll call the school and take care of the paper work and stuff?"

Lynn nodded her head as she leaned over and gave her son a hug. "I'll take care of it now I believe you have some major packing to do. Thankfully I did all the laundry last night."

AJ giggled a little at that, he wished he still had his mom to do his laundry.

"Sweet!" Justin exclaimed as he hugged his mom back tightly. "Love you, mama." Justin then stood up and said, "I'mma go up and start packing then we'll head back to your place." Justin spoke the first part to his mom while the latter was directed towards AJ. "C'mon."

AJ got up and followed Justin quickly. He gave Lynn a small smile when she gave him the 'take care of my baby' look and then headed with Justin up the stairs. "I suggest packing an out fit for every day and then maybe three or four more...and things that mix and match are good. Plus you might need at least one or two nice outfits just in case we go out some place and you and Nick come alone too."

Justin walked over to his closet and looked inside at all the clothes, pants, and sneakers he had. "Hmm," he said with a thoughtful look on his face. He then grabbed t-shirts of every color he had. Then he picked out a variety of jeans and sneakers that would match any combination of the shirts and pants he'd picked out. He then looked through his long sleeved shirts, basketball jerseys, shorts, and wife beaters and sleeveless shirts. After that he took out two black slacks and three dress shirts and one black dress jacket. Walking back over to the bed he began folding and placing everything init nice and neatly. "What else do I need?" Justin said thinking out loud.

"Well son don't forget your underwear," AJ said in his best sounding Lynn voice, a smirk on his face.

Justin wrinkled his nose and stuck his tongue out at AJ before walking over to his dresser and took out some of his boxers and boxer-briefs. He also grabbed a packet of socks, his bottle of cologne, deodorant, and jewelry. "There, anything else I'm forgetting?"

"Not that I wouldn't mind if you never wore underwear," AJ teased the smirk still on his face. He felt a lot better about things now that everything was all clear with Lynn. "And nope, nothing else from this room but you will need stuff from the bathroom...and we always like to bring our own towels and sheets and stuff because it makes us feel more like at home and all that."

"Right," Justin said. Of course he remembered that from the last time he went on tour with the guys. It's just that now he was excited and his stomach was in knots 'cause of AJ. He couldn't think straight. Walking into the bathroom he got the things that he would need in a medium sized satchel. Walking back out he said, "I think I'm bringing my own blanket, sheets, and pillows too."

"Sounds good," AJ said with a nod as he looked up from where he was sitting on the edge of Justin's bed. He almost still couldn't believe that Justin was his...or well he thought he was. It wasn't like they actually said they were going to be boyfriends...but he thought that was kind of assumed. 'Guess that's one more thing to ask him' he thought to himself.

Justin stuffed the last bit of his things in before walking over to the closet and getting out his gym back so he could put in the pillow, sheets, and his blanket in it. He still had some room left so he got out his CD player and his case of favorite CD's. His cell phone and laptop plus their chargers also went in. Once he was done he took a deep breath and looked around the room. "I think that's it," he said as he looked at AJ, giving him a smile. "Let's head back to your place..."

AJ smiled back and nodded his head. "Yeah we have to get back so we can get all my stuff packed up in time to head over to Brian and Nick's at eight," he said as he grabbed a few of Justin's bags for him and started to head out of the room.

"Thanks," Justin said as he closed his bedroom door and walked down the stairs back into the living room. "Mama, we're going," Justin called out and smiled when she approached him giving him the digital camera and extra memory cards to store pictures on.

"You better call, and if you don't I'm going to bother you so much with how many times I call," Lynn said giving Justin a big hug and a kiss on the forehead. "If anything goes wrong don't feel stupid in calling us either, we'll come right there, where ever you are and pick you up."

AJ smiled as he watched and listened to the exchange between mom and son. He was beginning to wonder how the woman would take it of she knew her son was falling for him.

Justin smiled back. Waving the camera he said, "I'll update my blog and add pictures too for you to see. And I promise to call." Justin kissed his mom one more time before picking his things up and nodding at AJ indicating they could leave now. "Bye mama," Justin called out once he was out the door and placing his things in the trunk of AJ's car.

AJ waited for Justin to finish putting his things in the truck before he closed it and they walked around and got in. Once they had been driving for a minute or so, AJ thought this would be an okay time to start the conversations they needed to have. "Justin...I was umm thinking earlier about what we are. Are we just like two guys who admit they like each other and that have kissed a few times, or are we like...a thing?"

"A thing?" Justin questioned amused before laughing. "Before I answer that I have a question of my own. What are the guys going to say?" Justin questioned. He had been worried what the rest of Backstreet would think about him and AJ and their relationship. He was more nervous about that than actually spending the next whatever months with AJ... no parents around.

"Well it's obvious that none of them have a problem with gay relationships." AJ laughed, knowing that every member of BSB was indeed gay or bi or whatever. "I'm not really sure what they will say but I know my friends well enough that they like me to be happy and I know they like you."

Justin was a bit skeptical about the latter bit of information AJ just divulged but nodded his head nonetheless. "Boyfriends, IF that's alright with you," Justin said answering AJ's question.

AJ smiled and nodded his head. "Well that actually got two of my questions out of the way because the next one I was going to ask is if we were going to tell the guys." The last question he had was harder though and he wasn't exactly sure how he was going to ask it yet.

"I'm nervous though," Justin admitted. "I don't know why but I am. I know I've been on tour with ya'll before but this time my stomach's in knots."

"Because of me?" AJ asked, glancing over at Justin when he was stopped at a red light.

Justin thought about that for a second before hesitantly nodding his head. "Kinda but for the most part... you know I have no clue. Maybe it's because I still don't know what's going to happen when I'm actually on the bus with ya'll... how they'll treat me, ya know. I mean last time ya'll just practically ignored me so... I was just... sorry. I'm being an idiot."

AJ reached a hand over and tentatively put a hand on Justin's thigh as he continued to drive home. "Well no matter what the other guys say or do I know for a fact you've got mine and Nick's attention. Plus, you don't have to worry about me like ya know doing things you don't feel comfortable with, I will never pressure you into anything." He knew this was a good spot to ask his next question but he was still worried. Taking a few deep breaths he actually did it. "You don't gotta answer this if you don't want to but, you said you've never been with a guy before...but have you done stuff with a girl before?"

Justin looked over at AJ's right profile. "You mean have I had sex with a girl before?"

AJ nodded but shook his head at the same time. "I don't just mean sex I meant have you done anything at all. I guess I'm just trying to see what you've done before," he said glancing over at Justin quickly before keeping his eyes on the road. He merely just wanted to know so he didn't do anything that would totally make his boyfriend uncomfortable.

"Yes, I've had sex with a girl, you remember Britney? I dated her around the same time Nick dated Christina that is before they broke up and he started dating Brian," Justin said. "But I think we should just let things happen... like go with the flow. Not think ahead of time or dwell much into past relationships... just what's here in the present. Here and now, ya know what I'm saying?"

AJ nodded his head as he pulled into his driveway and parked the car. "I wasn't asking the questions to like get into your pants, Justin. I just wanted to know." For some reason his words were coming out defensive sounding, and he wasn't really sure why. Maybe it was because he knew his reputation and knew that Justin knew it was well.

"I wasn't thinking that at all, sorry If I made it sound like I was," Justin said in a soft voice before opening the door and getting out of the car. He walked to the trunk and waited for the click to sound to indicate that it had opened.

AJ opened the truck for Justin, but didn't get out for a few extra seconds. Taking a deep breath he finally got out and walked around the back to where Justin was. Stepping up behind him he wrapped his arms around Justin's waist and kissed the back of his neck softly. "I'm sorry," he whispered.

Justin leaned back against AJ. "Don't be sorry," he said in a quiet voice before wrinkling his nose and turning around in AJ's arms. He gave the older man a big smile. "I think I could get used to this." He placed his hands on AJ's shoulders, around his neck. He gave AJ a quick kiss on the lips before saying, "We should get this stuff in and get your things packed."

AJ groaned as he pulled back a slight pout on his face. "I hate packing," he mumbled sounding like a little kid as he pulled a few of the bags out of the car to carry them inside.

"Me too, it's always more fun to take things apart than to take them out and stuff but never putting things back and all that jazz," Justin said as he grabbed the rest of the bags, closed the trunk, and followed AJ back into the house.

"And we want you taking care of our two year old," AJ teased as they walked into the house. "I think you guys will have toys all over the room because neither of you like to pick things up."

"How's that different from the way we usually were?" Justin questioned as he thought about how he and Nick always used to behave and act. "Ya'll gonna get pissed, it'll be double the mess."

"But at least both of you will be happy," AJ said with a shrug, he never really had problems with messes. "Come on let's set these down in the foyer and then we'll go get my stuff packed so maybe we can relax a bit before the troops come over," he said as he led Justin to the foyer and put the bags he was carrying down.

"Sounds good to me," Justin said as he too placed his things down and followed AJ up the stairs to his room.

Once upstairs AJ did the same thing that Justin had done earlier. Walking to his closet he started to take out all the various things he was going to need for the few months on tour. He then did the same thing with the dresser. Before long he had a whole bunch of stuff folded on the bed that he just needed to get into the suitcases. "Too much stuff," he said looking at the piles on the bed.

Justin sat down at the edge of the bed and picked up a leopard print sleeveless shirt with a raised eyebrow. "Hmmm."

AJ looked over at Justin when he heard him and laughed. "Hey, I like that shirt...don't go dissing the shirt," he said as he brought his bags over to the bed and plopped them down.

"Dude, I didn't say anything," Justin said as he dropped the shirt and lifted his hands up in 'surrender.' "But I think you can live without it for a few months." Justin laughed.

"Nut uh," AJ said shaking his head as he packed all the stuff the leopard shirt included. "Now off to the bathroom!" he said before making a superman like stance, making it look like he was going to go fly into the bathroom. For some reason just in a good mood and feeling like a nut.

Justin laughed as he watched AJ 'fly' into the bathroom. He couldn't help but smile at AJ and feel happy that he was his boyfriend. Boyfriend. Justin smiled some more. "AJ's my boyfriend," Justin said quietly to himself. He got up and walked over to the bathroom and leaned against the door frame as he crossed his arms over his chest and watched AJ putting things into the small bag.

AJ smiled at Justin as he placed all his bathroom things into a bag. "You look happy," he observed out loud. It made him feel happy to know Justin seemed to be so happy...he hoped that being with him had something to do with that.

"I am," Justin said nodding his head and thought about if he wanted to tell AJ just why he was so happy. Eh, what did he have to lose anyways? "I got a boyfriend. A boyfriend." Justin chuckled as he walked into the bathroom and stood behind AJ looking at their reflections in the mirror in front of them. Justin smiled as he looked at AJ's eyes watching him in the mirror.

"You're happy cuz you're not single anymore?" AJ questioned, giggling a little. He knew Justin meant more then that with that comment but he felt like being silly as he also looked at their reflections in the mirror.

Justin looked at AJ seriously. He needed the older man to know that THAT wasn't the reason even if he were just joking. "No, definitely not, it’s just that 'I have a boyfriend' and I like that. I like the fact that someone I like likes me back. I like the thought of having you like me. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I feel all giddy inside... like a school girl, though I wouldn't know just how a school girls feels like but you get what I'm saying," Justin rambled out. He tended to do that when he didn't know what to do or when he was a bit nervous. At the moment Justin was both.

AJ took it upon himself to turn around and pull Justin into his arms. "I feel the same way, it feels so good to have somebody like me because of who I am not because I have this reputation to be good in bed," he said blushing a little.

Justin smirked and shrugged. He leaned his body into AJ's and rested his hands on either side of him on the cool counter of the sink, trapping AJ there. He nuzzled their noses together before titling his head and brushing his lips against AJ's.

AJ moaned softly against Justin's lips but didn't do anything else. He was going to let Justin set the pace this time.

Justin smiled as he leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against AJ's in the softest most feather like kiss, ever, before pulling back. "We got like a little over three hours left till we gotta go over to Brian's."

"And I'm all packed, what do you want to do?" AJ asked, still looking into Justin's eyes.

"I don't know," Justin said biting his bottom lip. He honestly didn't know. Usually when he was with a girl they made out for hours either that or she would drag him shopping making him hold all her things and stuff. "What do you wanna do and be honest."

AJ bit his lower lip before he answered Justin. "Could we make out for a while or something?" He hoped Justin wouldn't think he meant more then make out when he said 'or something', because that isn't want he meant. He wanted to take things slow too because this was also all knew to him."

"Okay," Justin said smiling as he grabbed AJ's hand and led them back into AJ's room and over to the two seater in the corner.

AJ laughed as he sat down with Justin on the couch. "It's been a LONG time since I've like sat on a couch and just made out," he said with a smile on his face to show he wasn't upset about it but liked the idea.

"I didn't feel like standing," Justin simply stated as he turned around a bit trying to figure out just how to do this.

"I don't either," AJ said as he moved so one of his legs were up on the couch under him while the other one was on the ground. He then leaned forward and pressed his lips to Justin's again.

'Okay, this could work too,' Justin thought to himself as he got lost in AJ's kiss. He brought his hands down to AJ's waist and unconsciously started leaning back pulling AJ with him, on top of him.

Before long, AJ's leg that was under him was now on the other side of Justin's leg making it so he was practically straddling the younger man as they kissed. He let his tongue sneak out of his mouth and lick at Justin's asking for entrance.

Justin parted his lips when AJ licked them. He brought his hand up and to the back of AJ's head, titling his head, to deepen the kiss. Damn, AJ really is a good kisser and Justin loved every single second of it.

AJ couldn't help the small moan that escaped his lips as he let his tongue move inside of Justin's mouth and start exploring all the different nooks and crannies, trying to memorize everyone of them.

They continued to explore each other's mouths for a few more minutes until something that 'buzzed' and vibrated on his thigh nearly causing him to scream out and bite AJ's tongue, nearly, but he didn't. Instead he pulled back from the kiss. "That scared the crap out of me," Justin exclaimed trying to catch his breath. He reached down between them and grabbed the vibrating cell phone that was in AJ's pants. "You gonna answer that?" Justin questioned.

"Guess so," AJ groaned as he took the phone from Justin and opened it, putting it to his ear. "Hello?" he asked, hoping he didn't sound too annoyed to be interrupted.

"Hey Age," Brian said into the phone. "Am I interrupting something?" Brian questioned as he heard the annoyed tone in AJ's voice and also the way he sounded a bit out of breath.

"Oh no Bri," AJ said as he sat up on the couch a little more, moving so he was on his own side so he wouldn't get distracted. He left one of his hands resting on Justin's thigh though to keep some sort of contact. "What's up?"

Brian sighed. "I just tucked Nick in bed. It was a really long day but anyways I was just calling to ask if you know anything about if Justin will be coming with us or not because if he isn't I'm going to have to call Johnny and let him know we need a nanny or a baby sitter. The last resort is calling my mom."

AJ looked over at Justin who was looking right at him and smiled. "Don't worry about doing any of that Bri. Justin talked to his mom today and he's coming with us. He's got his stuff packed and is at my place right now so we'll both be over at yours in a few hours."

"Oh," Brian said not really expecting that answer. "He's at your place right now? Well, that's cool. Okay." Brian sighed. "I'll see the both of you at eight then, I'm glad he could come," Brian said before hanging up the phone.

AJ hung up the phone from his end and set it down on the floor so it wouldn't go vibrating on either of them again. "That was just Brian making sure you were going to come with us so we don't have to go calling somebody else."

"Oh, okay," Justin said as he grabbed AJ's t-shirt and pulled the man back on top of him. "Now, where were we?"

"Mmm I don't remember I think I need you to remind me," AJ said with a smirk as he looked down into Justin's eyes, his arms on either side of Justin's head, propping him up.

Justin stuck his tongue out before bringing his hand to the back of AJ's head and lifting his own head so that he could kiss the older man, again.

AJ settled more down on top of Justin as the kiss picked up again. The kiss was passionate and becoming rather hot, but AJ kept himself under control.

They continued to kiss for the next few minutes enjoying the feel of each other's tongues exploring, each cherishing and memorizing everything about the other.

Soon AJ felt himself responding to the kiss so he pulled back. He didn't want things to move too fast for Justin so he just pulled back knowing they need to anyway.

Justin's eyes remained closed as he caught his breath, licking his lips, as he liked the tingly sensation that he still felt from AJ's kiss. "I love kissing you," Justin whispered as he opened his eyes to look at AJ.

"I really like kissing you too," AJ said with a smile as he sat up again, attempting to catch his breath. "You wana go get something to eat before we head over to Bri's?"

"What time is it anyways? And yah, sure." Justin said as he sat up.

AJ looked down at his watch, "It's a little after six," he said as he stretched his arms over his head, his t-shirt riding up a little as he did so.

"Alright," Justin said as he caught a glimpse of flesh from where AJ's shirt lifted up a little. He quickly cleared his throat and stood up before linking their hands together and walking out of the room and down the stairs.

As soon as Brian had hung up the phone from talking with AJ he got up and decided to grab all their luggage and set it by the door. When he was done he sat back down on the couch and turned the TV on. Before he knew it there was a knock at his door and his cell phone started ringing. He looked at the time to see that it was 7:50 PM. 'Shoot, I must have fallen asleep,' Brian thought to himself as he checked his caller ID and answered his cell phone and got up. "Hey Kev!" Brian greeted as he opened his front door to see Kevin and Howie standing there, surrounded by their luggage.

Howie smiled as he hugged Brian. "We didn't want to ring the door bell in case Nick was sleeping or something. We knocked but no one answered so we thought we'd just call your cell," Howie explained the reason Kevin had called. He looked closely at Brian. "You look as though you just woke up... but at the same time you look like hell." Howie saw the redness of Brian's eyes as well as the messy hair.

Kevin nodded in agreement; he too thought his cousin looked like hell. "Is everything okay Bri?" he asked, hoping they could get Brian to start talking. They needed to be honest with each other, and sometimes when they hadn't been on tour for a while everybody kind of forgot all that, but he hoped that they could get Brian talking before they left.

Brian nodded his head. "Yah, I just feel asleep on the couch, that's all. It's been a really long day. Come on in," Brian said as he opened the door more and let Howie and Kevin walk in. "You guys want anything to drink? eat?"

Kevin shook his head, "I'm good thanks...we just went and got something to eat. I bet you're probably hungry though so don't worry about us if you want to eat something."

Brian nodded his head as he walked past the living room. "Ya'll make yourselves comfortable, I'm sure the rest would be here any minute. I'm gonna go and make me a sandwich," Brian said.

As if on cue, AJ and Justin walked up to the door and knocked before just walking in. They had seen Kevin and Howie's car outside so knew it was probably okay to just walk in. "Hello, Hello!" AJ called.

Howie was just about to take his seat when he heard AJ's voice. He straightened back up and walked out of the living room. "Age," Howie said and then noticed Justin. "Justin! You could MAKE IT!" Howie stated as he walked over and hugged Justin.

Justin was a bit startled by the hug but recovered quickly and hugged Howie back just as enthusiastically. Chuckling he said, "Yah, mom said I could."

"Isn't it great we get a cute little curly haired dude to join us... I always thought every group should have one," AJ giggled as he ruffled Justin's hair.

"Brian sort of has curly hair, we kicking him out?" Kevin asked as he walked into the room, laughing to show he was only joking. "Glad you could make it Justin, you'll be a great addition to our crazy little group of weirdos," he then thought about how that sounded and shook his head. "Not that you're crazy, or a weirdo," he corrected.

Justin laughed. "It's alright, ya'll are forgetting that I HAVE joined you guys before and I know just how weird and crazy ya'll are," Justin winked. "And I'm still here."

"Hewwo," Came a sleepy sounding voice as Nick walked into the living room where everybody had congregated. Nick had his pacifier securely in his mouth and his fist was rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Hey buddy," Howie smiled as he walked over to where Nick was and ruffled his hair. "Have a nice nap?"

Justin waved when Nick looked at him but didn't make any move to approach him thinking he'd wait for Nick to come to him, if he does.

Nick nodded his head to Howie's question but didn't really say anything else yet. He was still half asleep and trying to wake up from his over three hour long nap. He then noticed Justin standing by AJ and smiled at him as he yawned. "Me tirsty," he said before he headed out of the room and into the kitchen where Brian was. "Me tirsty," he said to Brian.

Brian finished making his sandwich and just as he was about to sit down Nick walked in. "Hey, you're awake," Brian said as he got up and walked over to the fridge. "Milk?"

Nick nodded his head as he bounced a little over to Brian. "Yeah, milk..." he said with a big smile on his face.

Brian took out a bottle of milk and warmed it up in the microwave for a few seconds before testing it and handing it over to Nick. "Sleep well?"

"Yeah, me sweepy," Nick said as he looked over at window as if saying that he must have slept a long time cuz it was dark outside now.

"Yeah, you were falling asleep before I could finish paying for the stuff," Brian said as he sat back down and took a bite out of his sandwich.

Just then Howie walked into the kitchen. "The vans are here," he stated and Brian groaned.

"We go bye bye?" Nick asked with big blue eyes that looked a little bit scared.

"In a little bit," Brian said as he quickly started to bit into his sandwich.

Howie nodded his head. "Well, we're gonna start loading the stuff that's already out in the foyer and by the front door and then we'll do the check list," he said and walked back out to tell the other guys.

"Me help!" Nick called as he ran after Howie. Once he found Howie out with the other guys he tugged on his shirt. "Owie me help?"

Howie turned around and smiled at Nick. "Um, sure," Howie said unsure if Nick could help or not. "Um, here take this," Howie said as he handed over a small light bag. "Just go over to Kevin and give this to him." Howie pointed over to Kevin who was loading the bigger bags and suitcases onto the top of vans.

"Otay," Nick said excitedly as he walked out of the house and over to Kevin. "Kevin...here...me help!" He said as he handed the bag to Kevin.

AJ laughed as he watched Nick helping Kevin from where he and Justin were getting their things out of his car. "Look at that, isn't that the cutest thing."

Justin looked over and smiled. "Yah, he's always acted that way though," he said focusing his attention on Nick. "That's one thing that never changed no matter how old we'd gotten and that's his child like innocence."

Nick took it upon himself to be the one to climb into the van and move all the bags around so they all fit. Surprisingly he actually did a really good job.

Kevin laughed as he stood back to watch Nick, "Honey, he stole my job!" He playfully whined when Howie walked out of the house.

"Huh?" Howie questioned since he wasn't able to see inside the van but once he got next to Kevin and peered inside he laughed. "He's actually BETTER than you are!" Howie exclaimed. "Hey Nick, great job buddy!"

Kevin pouted playfully as he slapped Howie on the ass before walking into the house to grab some more stuff.

"I'm going to go check on Brian to make sure he's okay and ready to go," AJ said as he patted Justin on the back and headed into the house then into the kitchen. "Hey Bri we've only got a few minutes you ready to go?"

Brian was washing the dishes and putting everything that was perishable in the garbage can, his back turned towards AJ. "Alright, I'm almost done."

"Is there anything we should do with Nick before we head out? I know Kevin already got his car seat put in the van." AJ said, trying to be as helpful as he could knowing this wasn't easy on Brian having to pretty much pack and do things for two people this time around.

"Um," Brian said as he turned around and rubbing his eyes and forehead thinking if there was anything he forgot. "No, nothing. I just need to grab this bag here," Brian said nodding over at Nicks baby bag. "And I think that's about it. Oh, and those new diapers." Oh Lord, did they have room for those diapers? "Could you go ask Kevin if we have room for the diapers I put in the third guestroom... to at least take some with us?"

AJ nodded his head, "Sure thing," he said as he ran back outside and went to tell Kevin what Brian had said and Kevin went back in to see if there was a way he could make it work.

Nick was done packing the stuff so he hopped out of the van and headed over to Justin as AJ came running outside announcing that everybody should go use the bathroom before they left.

Justin turned towards Nick and asked, "Do you have to use the bathroom?" He wanted to be polite and see if Nick still has his issues with the toilet.

Nick shook his head no, mostly because he didn't have to go. He had just filled his pants while he had been the only one packing up the van a few minutes ago. "Nope, me good." he said as he went about skipping around the driveway.

"You gotta go babe?" AJ asked Justin before he realized what he was saying, but thankfully it was only Nick around.

Justin shook his head. "I already went before we left the place while you were loading up your things," Justin said and discreetly kissed AJ on the cheek.

Brian finished in the kitchen and grabbed Nick's bag before walking into the guest bedroom. Upon seeing his cousin he questioned, "Anything?'

"We could bring one box." Kevin said looking up at Brian. "But I was reading the note you got with them and I think we can like call them up and they can send us more on the road when we need to." He suggested.

"Yah, alright. Let's take one box with us for right now though," Brian said hung the bag on one shoulder and bent down to pick the box up with Kevin. They soon made their way out to the car somehow managing to avoid hitting or bumping into things. After everything was loaded and set he said, "Get Nick in the car while I go lock everything up." Brian then walked into the house and turned off all the electricity and made sure the note to his parents was there on the table by the entrance way. He turned the alarm on and locked the main door before jogging down the steps and getting into the second van with Nick and Howie. Justin, AJ, and Kevin were in the first van that was going to lead the way.

Nick was wiggling around in his car seat uncomfortably, something he normally didn't do because he loved his car seat. Nobody had exactly checked his diaper since he had woken up and sitting still for too long wasn't really that comfortable in poopy, wet pants.

AJ tried to keep his distance from Justin at first because they hadn’t' had a chance to talk to anybody yet about their new relationship. It was harder then he thought though to keep his hands off of Justin.

Howie noticed that Nick was wiggling around and before anyone could start the engines and leave he said, "Wait! Nick do you need a changing?"

Justin looked out of the back of the car. He frowned when he noticed Howie with a serious expression and then Brian slap his forehead. "What's going on?" Justin whispered more to himself than anyone else.

Brian slapped his forehead and looked over at Nick. "I completely forgot, Jesus! Nick, why didn't you tell me?" Brian shot their driver an apologetic look before opening the door and walking to the other side of the car to get Nick out of his car seat.

"Me sowwy," Nick whispered realizing he had messed up. He had just been so excited he hadn't even thought twice about what he had done and needed to have done.

"I don't know what's going on," AJ told Justin and then really wondered what was going on when he saw Brian getting out of the car.

"Looks like he forgot to get something, or something." Kevin said as he too looked out the window trying to figure out what was going on.

Brian quickly grabbed Nick's hand and escorted them back up the steps to the front door. Opening it and turning the alarm off he ushered them into the guest bedroom where all the diapers were. "Let's get you changed," Brian chuckled as he ruffled Nick's hair to show Nick that he wasn't mad at him but more at himself for not realizing it.

Howie looked straight ahead and noticed three heads staring at him in confusion. He brought one hand up and closed his nose while the other hand waved in front of it, indicating 'smelly' meaning that Nick went in his diapers. Hopefully they would understand that but when he noticed their expressions become even more confused and Kevin scratch his head he picked up his cell phone and dialed Kevin. "He needed to be changed," Howie simply said into the phone.

Kevin laughed a little when his boyfriend told him what was going on. "I guess that's one thing we'll have to remember to check from now on, thanks for telling us baby."

AJ turned to look at Kevin still wondering what was going on.

Nick lied down on the floor and sighed. He hated being changed but he wasn't going to put up a fuss this time cuz he knew they had to go bye bye. "We go bye bye after change me?" he asked as Brian got down on his knees in front of him.

"Yup," Brian said as he quickly began to remove the diaper. "Poop!" Brian exclaimed instead of saying 'shit'. Hey, it was same thing! He realized he needed something to wipe Nick with. "Don't move, I'll be right back," Brian stated as he ran out of the room and up the stairs into Nick's room. He grabbed the extra wipes and rash powder before running back down the stairs and into the room Nick was in.

Justin looked between Kevin and AJ before settling his curious 'come on tell me' gaze onto Kevin. "Well?" Justin questioned when Kevin seemed to not notice that both he and AJ haven't been informed on why Brian and Nick ran in to the house.

Kevin laughed at their expressions. "Oh, Nick needed to be changed; we all kinda forgot to check him before we got all buckled in."

"I did my job in asking if everybody had to go to the bathroom," AJ laughed," I guess I forgot to ask about being changed."

"I asked him if he had to go," Justin pouted. "And he said 'nope'. I guess I should have worded my question differently." Justin sighed and looked back out the side window, this time. He somewhat felt like this was his fault.

Brian came back into the room and went about getting Nick cleaned up and changed. Within a few minutes Nick was all set, the dirty wipes and diapers in a plastic bag that he would throw out in the trash can by the driveway. Brian began shutting the lights off, turning the alarm on, and locking the doors. Walking over to the car he said his apologizes again to the driver and got Nick back in his seat before walking to the other side and getting in himself.

Now Nick was a happy camper and was having fun playing with the wheel on his car seat. "All bored," he said as if they were in a train.

Howie and Brian chuckled and simultaneously said, "Choo, choo."

"I think we're good to go," Justin said turning to the side so that his left arm was resting on the back of the seat, his back resting on the side/window of the car, his left leg folded on the seat, so that he could look back at the second van.

AJ was close to saying screw it, he wanted to cuddle up with Justin for the forty-five minute drive to the buses, but he wasn't sure if Justin would want to for one, and there was the problem of Kevin sitting right there.

Nick started singing a little song to himself as he looked out the window at all the lights and stuff that was going past them in the dark.
