Quotes
With the close of the NESTS Saga, it came time for SNK's second dream match. This established the trilogy-dream pattern that the series now claims to forever follow. Follwing fresh after 2001, Eolith was still sponsoring SNK. So, this title was able to include all the favorite characters from every game before. Though, like '98 this game featured no story nor real endings, most fans feel it was a great improvement over 2001. This is most likely the last time we'll ever encounter K's nemesis, K9999. Personally, it seems that this game placed almost no focus at all on K', which seems rather unfitting. The Dreamcast version added King and Shingo, while all other console ports added Geese, Goenitz, and Orochi Iori.
