| THE SYMBOLISM OF OUR COUNTRY'S FLAG Black - This symbolizes the people of our country, black is the pigmentation of their skin. Red - This symbolizes the blood that was shed in order to attain freedom from our colonizers, the british. Green - This symbolizes the fertility of our country in its ability to produce food for its people. White Stripes - These two stripes running horizontally symbolize the peace that came about our country following freedom from colonization. The Emblem - The emblem in the middle is a shield and a pair of spears. They represent our pride and tradition. |
